Summary

AN ADRENALINE-CHARGED WILDE & CHASE ADVENTURE FROM THE INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLING AUTHOR

Archaeologist Nina Wilde and her husband, former SAS soldier Eddie Chase, believe their globe-trotting adventures are over - the biggest worry being how their now-adult daughter Macy is going to spend her life.

But after the violent theft of dangerous relics, with the only surviving guard claiming his attackers were "angels", Nina and Eddie are thrust back into action. Without their knowledge, though, Macy is approached by a mysterious group called the Knights of Atlantis - who want to recruit her.

In a deadly race stretching from the glamorous French Riviera to the blistering heat of the Karakum desert, Nina and Eddie must confront mercenaries, secret societies and the machinations of the world's first trillionaire - with the fate of the world in their hands...

Great story and preformed perfectly

Great story and great to have Simon Mattacks back the only story teller that brings Chase & Wild to life perfectly

Top Notch Adventure

I had forgotten how enjoyable and entertaining these characters and their adventures are. Good story, right number of OMG moments and good humour. Simon Mattacks’ narration flows so well and brings it alive. Highly recommend this series.

Cinematic

Really enjoyed this audiobook, yet again Andy has produced a fantastic story that is excellent in its detail and is surely worthy on being made into a film. More please!

Bang, crash, crackle, bad puns. Got the lot.

Standard McDermott with another 100mph Wilde/Chase romp. Well read, although it takes some getting used to a male voice reading female characters. Nails the Yorkshire accent, mind.

Really enjoyed this book

As with all of this series it was a really enjoyable read and it was nice that Masie had a main roll.

Another well told tale

Another well told tale, and a new storyline well worth developing. Andy McDermott has done it again, this time opening a new set of possibilities.

Still the same old Wilde & Chase

More globe trotting shenanigans, very dangerous helicopters and self serving villains. I’ve missed a few of the recent books but have dropped back in without feeling I’ve missed anything.

Thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

One of the better books.

Simon Mattacks narration exemplary, as always. The character of Macy is still annoying and a bit spoilt though, I would've preferred that the story incorporated Eddie and Nina a a bit more.
