Summary
Fleeing an abusive boyfriend, Cindy moves into her late grandmother’s creepy old house with her young daughter. At first, the home is comfortable and nostalgic. But soon, ghosts randomly appear day and night, doors open and close, a streak of bad luck begins, and Cindy and her daughter have unsettling nightmares. Cindy’s mental state is pushed to the edge.
When Cindy’s video recording of paranormal activity goes viral, she gets the attention of famous ghost hunters. With nowhere else to turn, Cindy accepts their help to find and eliminate the source of the haunting.
Can Cindy and the team of paranormal investigators survive the haunting of The House on Moon Creek Avenue?

Wow!
Wow! what a cracking listen! This is a really good story with superb narration by Sean 'DrC' Cordry. His voice is perfect for these chilling stories. The book is fast paced and addictive listening, I finished it inside a day, just could not put it down. Not for the feint hearted it's just good clean horror. Highly recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.

A tale of two sisters
I gave this book an overall 4 because of the production and editing of the audiobook. I'm assuming that the original story was chapterized and thus has translated poorly into the audiobook. Normally this doesn't bother me but when you're halfway through the audiobook and the narrator says "chapter 2" when you've had a few "chapter 2's" already, it kinda makes you stop and go "huh? did I miss something? Did my player mess up?" only to realize, nope its a bunch of smaller stories shoved together to make 1 book and not contextualize properly.
Other than that, the story was a good inheritance haunted house/ghost story with a family centric twist. Although I would have appreciated an epilogue with follow ups on the men in her life, the child, and the "family" but I suspect there's more than what's included in the audiobook 🤔

nightmare
I loved the narration of Sean 'DrC' Cordry, who brings out the chill and characters in this book.
Cindy is a single mother to daughter Mallory and has just inherited her recently deceased grandmothers house.
Cindy’s dad is helping with bills as well to help her get on her feet, while she is at college. Her ex is no good and did not treat Cindy well.
The house seems perfect, that is until Cindy starts hearing and seeing things, Cindy catches the paranormal activity on video. Which catches the attention of really well known paranormal investigation group, who offer to come to Cindy and help find out what is happening . A bit of romance thrown in, with this paranormal horror ghost plot.

The House on Moon Avenue
The book was super slow moving and the reasoning behind the haunting does not come out until the end. I will say if you make until the end it has a fantastic twist and ending! I personally struggled to get to the end between the narration and the story. I did not care for the narrator I don’t think the voice went with the story at all. A good narrator can bring a decent book to a really good book. I think both story and narration could use some work in this case.
