Summary
He'll make her pay for her father's crimes before taking revenge on the brothers who abandoned him.
Zayn Becker has struggled to protect his little brother in the aftermath of the car accident which claimed their parents' lives. They lost everything that night except for each other. What subsequently happened at the group home devastated Roman and set Zayn on a vengeful path that leads to the elite.
When a mysterious guardian emerges, Zayn is more than willing to help take down the brothers who abandoned him and Roman as babies. But first, he targets the sweet, innocent daughter of the man who owns the group home.
Emery Copeland lives a blissfully sheltered life as the only daughter of wealthy parents. She's not looking for a new relationship when Zayn sweeps her off her feet at summer school. Giving him her V-card feels right until his betrayal is revealed and her world implodes.
Kaiden Anderson hasn't stopped searching for the brothers his father gave away. His desire to find them is all-consuming, especially now it seems they?re in danger.
Upon reuniting, Kai discovers Roman is broken and Zayn has a secret agenda. With the elite threat ever-present and their father in hiding overseas, Kai will stop at nothing to protect his youngest siblings.
Zayn regrets hurting Emery, and he's determined to win her back despite how she keeps pushing him away. Protecting her and Roman becomes his new goal, and he'll do whatever it takes to keep them safe.
Even if it means opening his heart to the brothers he once vowed to hate.
The Hate I Feel was originally released as a short story in the Hot Summer School Nights anthology. The story has been expanded and rewritten and it is now a full-length novel. This book is not a stand-alone romance and it must be listened to in series order.

This series is amazing
There are no words to describe how much I love this series finally we get the stories of the Anderson brothers that were adopted and it’s tragic and filled with wanting revenge. Zayne and Roman’s story is heartbreaking but seeing them reunited with their big brothers was along time coming. I just feel Atticus got the easy way out I wanted to see him pay for destroying his family. Can’t wait to finally listen to Drew’s story and see how this series ends.

Incredible
“The hate I feel” is the 7th book in the Rydeville elite series.
The Rydeville elite series is hands down my all time favourite series that Siobhan has written to date! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again no one can write angst like Siobhan can. I was completely captivated by Zayn and Emerys story and I didn’t want it to end, I savoured every single word of this beautiful captivating romance.
Zayn hasn’t had it easy in his young life and my heart completely broke for him. He’s had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Zayn is very protective of his younger brother and will do whatever it takes to take down those who wronged his younger brother even if it means hurting innocent beautiful Emery in the process.
“The hate I feel” was an absolutely incredible story. I loved the passion between Zayn and Emery they were definitely written in the stars and I feel that down to the depths of my very soul. As true Siobhan style there are plenty of twists and turns along the way that will have you guessing at every turn. Zayn was the the ultimate protector there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for people he loved. I loved how this story played out and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
The narration told by Sarah Puckett and Michael Gallagher was absolutely incredible. They both truly brought this beautiful story to life and I can’t recommend this audio enough!

Great story and wonderful narration
I only finished reading and listening to the Rydeville Elite books that were already out a few months ago, so I have been lucky and did not have to wait too long for this next installment. This is part of a series and must be read in order to fully enjoy the overall story weaved through the books.
I loved the narration of this book as it is a duet performance and boy do they perform. It really feels like you are part of the story and can get totally lost in it. These are two of my favourite narrators and have done a fantastic job of conveying the emotions of the characters.
As always we are taken on a journey of heartbreak, passion and secrets but this one has a heavy dose of revenge too. I love that we finally get to meet the missing brothers Zayn and Roman and find out what happened to them. Roman is a broken soul and Zyan is the older brother out for revenge against those who broke him and abandoned them both. Emery is part of his plan for payback but he didn’t count on catching feelings for her. I also loved seeing the rest of the gang again but that ending… what!!!
I have already read the last book in the series so know how it all ends. As I have now listened to all the audiobooks so far, I am really looking forward to listening to the final book in the series as they really bring the stories to life.

Bring me Drew
I really enjoyed this a whole lot. I love how the whole story is coming together with what I think is only one book to come in this series. A lot of big story line threads are finally getting tied off and seeing how everyone is coming together makes my heart happy. I only wish there was more of Zayn and Emery together together but I understand why it played out the way it did.

The Hate I Feel
The Hate I Feel is the seventh book in the Rydeville Elite series. I love finally being able to return to this series. This Zayn and Emery's story. Just as expected, this series is full of twists and turns. Siobhan Davis is one of my favorite authors. I love this series.
Sarah Puckett and Michael Gallagher did a fantastic job narrating this book in duet style narration.

Engaging listen
I haven't read the previous books in the series so I have spoiled some elements for myself but I will definitely be going back to fill in some of the gaps; particularly with Kaiden who stood out the most. Zayn is on a revenge mission and Emery is collateral damage; from the blurb you know the betrayal is coming but it was still brutal (Michael Gallagher and Sarah Puckett were so good in that scene). Zayn comes to realise that Emery was so much more than a means to an end and is determined to win her back, protect Roman and navigate his newfound family. I liked how different the brothers all were but how they shared some overlapping traits; the camaraderie and bickering also felt really natural. I also liked the J-dog twist and how it was resolved.
My heart broke for Roman; I really need him to have a happy ever after in the future. And Drew has intrigued me but I'm going to try and catch up on the series first before starting his story!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
