A good listen!
A decent trilogy. You get to know the main characters well, the resilience built by sharing cumulative tragedies, the individual love lives, the changing circumstances that could have, but are not allowed to break ‘the halfpenny girls’ up and a satisfying ending. What more can you ask for in a novel? Book 2 however needs to be re-read by Anne Dover to bring consistency to the saga.
