Very good!!
The story is still keeping strong and I have enjoyed almost every second of it. There were a few chapters where the exposition felt a bit dragging when switching POV to other characters, but the overall story was good.

Solid Continuation
Another good addition to the journey of Adelhied, but this time about her experimenting with her new found vampirism or in this case they are called "Ordinals". The POV changes are well placed, as we see more of the opposing factions in the beast kingdom. We also get to glimps into just how power Adelhied has become from her transformation. Once the initial jarring feeling of new Narrators wears off, its a good performance. I look forward to seeing how the story goes.

A bit of a downgrade, but still good
I did enjoy the book and I think you should listen to it if you liked book 1-3, but it was also a bit of a let down. To start there is a new narrator and she is not bad, but not as good as the for book 1-3 narrator. The villain was also pretty lazy. He is the most stereotypical fantasy villain with no motivation or personality you can imagine. However even with that im still invested in the series and curious to see where it goes next.

not as good
while the writing has stade the same this is not as good as the other three in the series. the new narrator frequently mispronounced many non English words, and they stopped highlighting the chanting of spells.

Horrible performance, get the previous actors back
Both male and female narrators lack emotion, and do not use the established pronunciation or dialects for the characters. This might as well be a completely different story.
