The Eidolon is the first in a brand-new collection of novels and novellas in the Magnus Academy series. These stories will be told through the various points of view of Rune's found family, ultimately leading to a planned arc of novels set at the new Magnus Academy. The book was printed in partnership with Rainbow Crate, the world's largest queer subscription box service, which produced a limited-edition hardcover.

Excellent edition to the series
Excellent companion book to the tarot sequence series. While reading the first three books, especially The hourglass throne, is beneficial, it's not essential to enjoy this book. As usual, K D Edward's characters are supremely fleshed out in a story full of excitement, revelations, and humour. It is a pleasure to read.

Great small book
After finishing the Hourglass throne, this book is ideal to fill some of the knowledge gaps!!! I enjoyed it a lot. I cannot wait for the 4th book. This series is soooo complete. All characters are well thought and the story is well threaded. I love it!

The best credit you will spend!
So if you’ve listened to the other books so far - this one is paved with nuggets of information that have me wishing The Misfit Caravan would just land in my lap already! Brilliant story and I consumed it all in one sitting - best day of my year so far! Josh Hurley really brings these books to life and I love how Max is a mini Brand in training with all his mannerisms. It’s a must listen from me! Right back to The Last Sun etc to re-listen and put all the nuggets together.

A great addition to an already magnificent story.
I fell in love with Rune and his growing wonderful, crazy and delightfully sassy family almost immediately.
Quinn in particular has always been a delight and now we het to know him, Max and Anna much better.
