Summary
The Devil in Her Bed is the third audiobook in the stunning Devil You Know trilogy by USA Today best-selling author Kerrigan Byrne!
He lives in secret service to the Crown - a man of duty, deception, and an undeniable attraction to a woman who threatens to tear his whole world apart.
They call him the Devil of Dorset. He stands alone, a man of undeniable power. Moving in and out of shadows, back alleys and ballrooms, he is unstoppable and one of the Crown’s most dangerous weapons. However, when he sets his sights on the undeniably beautiful Countess of Mont Claire, Francesca Cavendish, he doesn’t realize that he has met a match like no other.
True love wears no disguise.
Francesca is a countess by day and stalks her prey- those responsible for the death of her family - by night. What she does not expect is to be thrown into the path of the devil himself, the Earl of Devlin. She has secrets of her own and he seems determined to lay them bare. Can her heart survive finding the love of her life and losing him when all is revealed?

Just one word.... Wow!!!
What an absolutely brilliant story. A-MAZ-ING!!! Kerrigan Bryne you are a fantastic writer, your stories are soo riveting, intriguing, sexy and soo intense I just couldn't stop listening. Everytime I needed to go out I couldn't wait to get back to it. You write one brilliant story after another. And together with Derek Perkins you make one fabulous team. I love his voice for the hero's', it's to die for. Can't wait for your next book.

A Disturbing Gothic Romance
WARNING! This is a deeply disturbing book and there are too many triggers to mention, including infanticide.
This is book #3 of the series and although it could be read as a standalone, it would be best to read it from the beginning to understand all the characters and the plot.
I know that KB writes dark and gothic style romances which I have loved but this time she went too far for my taste and this one really disturbed me to the extent that when reached halfway I wondered whether I actually wanted to continue, but then I need to know the outcome, so continued.
The Crimson Council were despicable as we know from earlier in the series in their cruelty and depravity but one of their horrifying tortures was just too much. I didn't feel that this was justified in a historical romance and this amount of description was unnecessary.
As ever, KB served up a wonderful amount of tension between Francesca and the Devil of Dorset. I felt so much for both their characters and was overjoyed when they eventually got their HEA which they both heartily deserved after all the torment they had both suffered.
It is difficult for me to recommend or rate this book but for die hard KB lovers, she has excelled herself, but be warned!

Another good one
This author always makes me despair over how the MCs will ever get together, even though it’s an absolute requirement of the genre.
This book wasn’t an absolute favourite but I did enjoy it, as I always do with Byrne and narrator Perkins.
