Very Interesting and Informative!
"The Cold Therapy Code" is an exceptional book that delivers on its promise to help readers rediscover their vitality through the practice of cold exposure. The author presents three simple and effective cryotherapy methods that can be easily integrated into anyone's daily routine.
One of the best things about this book is the way that the author explains the science behind cold exposure and its many benefits. The reader is taken on a fascinating journey through the history of cryotherapy, and is given a clear understanding of how the practice can improve health, reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase energy levels.
The three cryotherapy methods presented in the book are easy to understand and implement. The author provides clear instructions on how to perform each method, and also includes tips for beginners and advanced practitioners. Whether you are looking to take a cold shower, use an ice pack, or try cold-water immersion, this book has you covered.
One of the standout features of this book is the way that the author emphasizes the importance of mindset and mental toughness when it comes to cold exposure. The reader is encouraged to embrace discomfort and to see the practice as a challenge that can be overcome with practice and persistence.
Overall, "The Cold Therapy Code" is a must-read for anyone interested in improving their health and vitality through natural methods. The author's writing style is engaging, and the book is packed with useful information and practical tips. If you are looking to reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase energy levels, this book is an excellent resource. It's a 5-star read that I highly recommend.

Informative & Inspirational
I have been looking to start a cold water programme over a few months and reading this book has really pushed me to start.
Good background information with hints and tip’s being helpful. Excellent FAQ section and has brought the subject including benefits (and drawbacks) to life. Started and been going for a month with a daily routine. Small steps and Rome wasn’t built in a day but see the benefits. Bought the hardback after listening to the audio book. A must!!

Informative and Supportive
As somebody who has started taking cold showers and cold sea dips in the last year I found this book a fascinating listen. Well done to James Smart (author) on providing a very informative and highly researched support book/listen on cold therapy. As somebody who was initially apprehensive about cold showers and only managed 10 to 30 seconds to begin with this book has now given me reassurance about what I'm doing. I found the chapter on 'contrast therapy' particularly relevant and useful. The narrator also does a very good job on making all the details accessible to the listener. I really would like to try an ice plunge at some point - the front cover looks amazing but sadly there's nowhere near to where I live to attempt such a plunge (so it's cold showers and local sea dips for me). I would be interested to find out if cold therapy could help alleviate 'tinnitus' symptoms - don't know if James Smart is aware of how cold therapy could benefit such a condition - I live in hope that it will. Thankyou for this 'code for living' and I look forward to my next 5 minute cold shower :-)

Great Book If You are Afraid of Cold Therapy!
I wasn’t sure about cold therapy at first. Just the thought of taking a cold shower made me hesitate, but this book completely changed my perspective. This book breaks down the science behind cold exposure in a way that actually makes sense. The author does a great job explaining how cold therapy isn’t just about physical health but how it boosts your mental clarity and energy levels too. It’s also realistic. There is no pressure to go extreme. You learn how to ease into it and listen to your body, which makes it way more approachable. If you’ve been curious about cold therapy or just want to feel more energized and focused, this book is a great place to start. Definitely worth the read!

Very informative
This book, "The Cold Therapy Code," is packed with valuable insights on how cold exposure therapy can rejuvenate your body and mind. It's intriguing to learn about the natural and inexpensive methods that can significantly increase mental fortitude. The author does an excellent job of demystifying cryotherapy, making the science behind it clear and easy to grasp.
I have to say, I tried cold showers for a time, and it wasn’t easy, mainly because I didn’t understand the science behind it; now I do! I have learned that unless you know the benefits, it is not easy to sustain the habit. The author walks you through the process, helping you ease into cold exposure. I appreciate the detailed advice on developing the right habits for long-term health benefits and the emphasis on safety and maximizing results.
It's a must-listen for those eager to embark on a journey to better health and vitality.
