Summary

An innocent girl escapes an evil empire.

But the danger is only beginning.

What seems like a simple bodyguard job will see Conryu dragged halfway across the world and into a war between monsters. If that isn't bad enough, the La Fey Society is mixed up with the mad emperor.

After surviving the war, it's time for some fun and games. At least until a group of terrorists show up intent on killing all the contestants.

Despite Conryu's best efforts, the Le Fay Society is on the verge of freeing their leader. If they succeed, all hell is going to break loose.

The Aegis of Merlin Omnibus: Vol. 2 contains four complete novels: Escape the Dragon Czar, Wrath of the Dragon Czar, The Four Nations Tournament, and Death Incarnate.

Its volumes 5-9 why its wrong I dont know?

So yes Atlantis Rising was part of the download for me. So that was a bonus why they havent updated the title part im not sure but its all good.
I liked the flow and continuation of the story I like that we still have place to explore and a larger setting is being anounced. A lot of fun and excitment tention is easy to create as the auther has chosen in my opinion quite rightly to follow other people than our now super powerful MC who is sadly a little dull having finished his main Arc in the first set.

A shame

Ahh kinda bummed out over the deterioration of this series narrative writing.

Plot points and previous world building forgotten or ignored. The author struggles to find things for Maria or the other female cast/love interests. Supporting cast are borderline incompetent.

But don't worry all the problems will be taken care of by the MAN who likes bikes, and kung-fu! and ALL the hot women want to bang him.

All that poor characterisation aside, there is so much narrative convenience and Deus Ex Machina to push the plot it thrums of laziness.

characters that know all the cheat codes

just finished the 2nd omnibus edition and it really got boring after a while. main character/s always found a spell or item to get by an impossible event. main character about to die but his book familiar teaches him a new spell he just happens to remember.
if this is suppose to entertain teenagers new to reading, they are better of watching kids shows, good guys always win easily. no story twists reaveling helpful info, just start up, hey try this it's godmode
