About this listen
When Danny’s mother is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness, he finds himself in a race against time to fulfill her wish for him...to find a soul mate.
Danny’s quest for love soon steers him into unfamiliar territory, and before long he’s introduced to a powerful new addiction....
Online dating.
But has he taken a wrong turn? Because neither serial dater Harriet, nor fetish scene enthusiast Beth, seem like the type one brings home to mother, and time is quickly running out.
Will Danny find the love of his life, or is his chance of meeting the perfect woman slipping away one date at a time?
Swiped Out is a bittersweet journey into the world of modern dating. You will laugh, you will cry, and you may never swipe again. Get Swiped Out now for a raunchy peep inside the sometimes murky world of online dating. It’s not a place for the faint-hearted!

Genuine laugh out loud moments
a fantastic read (listen on Audible!) that had me rewinding certain moments because they were so funny... funniest moments... hhmm.. the description of someone as, "Grover from the muppets" and the voice of someone very angry on a voicemail... it was the comic but rather sinister laughter that accompanied it. I love an audio book where the narration is so good that you're transported into their lives and Mark and his colleagues definitely achieved this... brilliant... recommended.

Refreshingly different
Okay, so there are so many female POV books out there on the market which cover this genre and the pitfalls of dating, so to hear things from the male POV is great.
The book is funny to the point of giggling and laughing while driving to and from work, and making the commute so much more enjoyable.
Danny is looking for love and falls head over head down the rabbit hole of online dating, and bless his heart fully embrace it, dodgy dates and all. He's looking for 'the one' and definitely not afraid to kiss a few female frogs along the way while he searches for his princess. Danny thinks he's found her, just to be sidelined while she checks out her options.
Listening to this you have to wonder just how many of these dates are based on true life experiences, I'd like to bet probably far more than the author is willing to admit! There is so much humour packed into this, and then some heartbreaking scenes with Danny's mum. No major spoilers from me, but if you're looking for something refreshingly different, swipe out on swiped out :-) Oh and watch out for the scene stealing cat!

The exploits of a serial online dater.
First off I want to say a huge thank you to narrator Dan Calley for giving me an audiobook version of this book.
I absolutely loved this!
Narrated by the author himself,Mark Restuccia, and, brilliantly backed up by,Sooz Kempner and Patch Hyde. Their considerable voice talents bring these characters to life.
This is rude, crude and had me laughing out loud (I got some strange looks, laughing while listening to this in my car.)
I don't want to give spoilers for this book, what I want to do is recommend this to everyone!

Just awful
Such a terrible book. It wasn't funny. It was stupid. The main character is an asshole. He meets a ton of women all of whom happen to be the exact same brand of strange, but he still has sex with them even though he wants nothing to do with them. Mysoginistic crap. The story has this weird backdrop of the main character's mum dying of cancer. Yet despite, you know, being there for his poor mother, the main character is online dating incessantly. Vile. Through and through. I hated everything about this book.
