Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence
I like the author's idea that we should gather in groups and share our stories with everyone without interruptions; it will reduce stress and build and maintain meaningful connections while navigating challenges and healthy relationships. I can think of my mind as a garden in which I can believe in myself and the ability to grow and learn. I have to say to myself I have the goal of perseverance. We can also improve our speaking skills by giving a presentation to a small group, and when we are ready, we can try to talk to a more significant number of people. When we go to a job interview, I must move forward in faith and learn from my mistakes as being resilient. I love the advice I am learning from the audiobook.

everyone should listen to this
This was a great book that really goes through all the ways to improve your emotional intelligence. I loved that it chose to provide information through a group of friends and their struggles. it made it interesting and applicable in the real world. But there is such a truth to a lot of issues being from someones lack of emotional intelligence and this book will help you realize that when you're struggling with someone else and how to improve your own weak points. And yeah just a great tool for anyone of any age but really focuses on a young adult who is feeling their first taste of independence.

It’s both very interesting and practical. I would recommend it not only to any young people out there but also those working or living with them.
