Summary

In fog-enshrouded Victorian London, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson soon become entangled in a deadly web of intrigue and cryptic clues.

Who is the silver-caned shadowy stranger? Is Euclid's College lecturer John Kindred really in danger? And what is the connection to the fabled and priceless emerald, the Egyptian Sepulchre?

Holmes slowly suspects that the answers may lie behind a quite extraordinary equation.

Good

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left a review.

This was a fun and short Sherlock Holmes mystery. I like how it was set out like a play, with scenes and sound effects.

Good

Once you get used to the style of this audio it is quite good. It is enhanced with dramatic music and sound effects but the narrator describes scenes as if you are watching a TV episode. It is an interesting approach. The story has lots of references to previous Holmes cases and characters and is entertaining enough. Worth listening to.

Over the top.

Not the best Sherlock Homes I have ever heard and the upper class accent was really phoney.
