Wanted more

I have been following these Gallos since their parents got together. I love them and everything about them. I enjoyed this book from start to finish, however I feel like something was missing. I could have used more details about certain aspects of this book. The narration was absolutely spot on just like all of Chelle’s books. If you haven’t checked them out. You need to start with the men of inked series. You will NOT be disappointed.

Gotta Love Those Gallo’s

Another enjoyable read from Chelle Bliss. I loved Luna’s sassy attitude she’s such a bright light to this story. It’s great to hear all the extended family and all the little contributions they all make to creating this well crafted story. I found Nevin’s character to be a bit grumpy and hard to take but he turned around and I enjoyed the relationship that ended up forming between him and Luna.

Great Narration by Samantha Brentmoor and Lance Greenfield as always.

Made me sad…

This book gave me all the feels. I found myself on numerous occasions with teary eyes. I felt so deeply for Nevin. The fact that no one showed him any support not even his brothers made me sad. Luna was fierce and had his back from the start. They truly deserved each other. Narration as always with this author was on point only helping to bring the story to life.

Wonderful to be with the Gallos again!

Another wonderful entry into the Gallo family series. They are a little crass, a little crazy, but oh so fun and crazy. This story follows Luna and Nevin. Luna was awesome- sunshine but take no prisoners- there were multiple times throughout the book where she took care of herself when faced with really awful situations and I laughed in glee as she showed up the men who refused to accept "no". Ah, I really wished I had her gumption in real life! Nevin was the grump to her sunshine and I love grumpy sunshine romances so that was fantastic. I have to admit that I didn't see the connection initially but after a while, their connection built so well and really made an impression. These stories are short, full of humor and love and family. So great to get back into this family!

The audiobook is narrated by Lance Greenfield and Samantha Brentmoor. I'm a big fan of these narrators and while I thought Lance sounded a little older than I pictured, they both did well and kept me entrenched in the story.

Nevin & Luna!

What happens when you give up part of your life to save your little brother? Nevin is about to find out. Settling back into civilian life after 10 years in jail isn't easy. But Nevin's brother, Ian, has asked Nevin to watch out for his best friend, Luna Gallo while he is away, and this woman who exudes sunshine may be the one thing that can help him. There is an instant chemistry between these two, but the whole brother's best friend thing keeps getting in the way. Plus Luna's family has always looked down on Nevin's, right? In for a whole new look at life, Nevin is treated to a world he never thought he would find. But can it last once he gives in? This is a beautiful, fun and flirty story, the perfect addition to the Men of Inked: Heatwave series. I love coming back to hang out with the Gallos, they have become my family too! It's like coming home. The feelings that Chelle Bliss pours into this story are real, and I could feel each one as Nevin and Luna traveled on their journey. Having Dylan close by is just a plus! Sweet, slow burn with passion this is a fabulous listen.

Lance Greenfield and Samantha Brentmoor always make my ears happy, and with this story, I was thrilled. Greenfield plays Nevin with a gloomy broodiness, and we can feel hear his change as the story progresses. Brentmoor does a phenomenal portrayal of Luna, tuning into her personality and bringing the light that she is. This team knows how to entertain!

Beautiful Story!

This is book 10 in the Men of Inked Heatwave Series, a next generation of the Men of Inked Series. Nevin and Luna's slow burn romance is beautifully written, emotional, and sweet. I liked the little suspense in the story. Luna is such a wonderful character, beautiful, kind, caring, and smart. She is Rosie's twin sister (from Ashes, book 9 in the series). She is best friend with Ian, Nevin's little brother, who tasked her to look out for Nevin. Nevin, ex-con, is handsome, and very supportive, and protective. Their story is beautiful, and engaging! The supporting characters are great. I love the Gallo's family! They are awesome, and they add a good humor in the story/series. Lance Greenfield and Samantha Brentmoor did an excellent job with the narration. I enjoyed it! Looking forward to listening to Torch, the next book in the series. I HIGHLY recommend the Men of Inked Heatwave series and the Men of Inked series.

Seriously great narration of a fabulous story.

It was so great to be back with the Gallos again. It is absolutely no secret that Samantha’s in my top 2 female narrators. I go gaga over Sam’s male voices and am always so impressed, (not sure why it shocks me every time because seriously, I should know and expect nothing less from her) by the fact that she is able to voice the family text convos with 50 million different voices consistently. That is some serious voice acting skills.

So this one’s Luna, Rosie from ASHES’s twin sister. She’s a Gallo girl through and through and falls for the brother of her bestie who’s just been released from prison. This was a low angst, high heat but in a sweet and nurturing rather than a slamming possessive kind of way. Luna and Nevin are tasked with looking out for each other by Nevin’s brother Ian who’s Luna’s best friend. There’s a little touch of forced proximity due to a hurricane and although Luna’s a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to storms she’s a boss when it comes to defending herself. With a smidgey bit of suspense this book ticked all the boxes.

My fave thing with this series has to be all the family chat text messages. It’s great to see all the different couples and cousins making appearances.

As I said before Sam smashes the narration on this one. Easily flipping between allllllll the voices and bringing her signature sass to Luna. Lance gives us a more sensitive side to Nevin and I was here for it all. Another great book in the Men of Inked Heatwave series.

I loved Nevin and Luna's story

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I simply cannot get enough of the Gallo’s. These stories are more than the romance between each couple, and I cannot express how much I enjoy the full family dynamic that Chelle Bliss gives us with each story. My absolute favourite parts are when you get to revisit your favourite characters at Sunday dinners with the whole family. I love the witty banter and the comical group text conversations between the cousins.

Lance Greenfield was an amazing choice of narrator to portray Nevin Walsh’s character. His deep gravely voice really helps you feel all that Nevin has gone through.
