About this listen
Austin Moore found his purpose in the military, but there was always something missing. He wanted what everyone in his family had…someone to call his own. But his life didn’t make it easy to find a soul mate, someone to be his forever.
Sage Hill enlisted to follow in the footsteps of her father, but never wanted to be in his shadow. And when her friend ditches her at a dive bar, she catches the eye of a handsome stranger. But Sage doesn’t have time for relationships, nor does she want the complication.
When Sage is stuck, Austin tries to be her saving grace and a challenge leads to a lip lock neither one of them can forget. She swore she’d never fall for a strong and bossy man like her father, but she soon learns there’s more than meets the eye underneath that sexy exterior.

Austin & Sage
Oh this one got me. I love this family so much. No spoilers but the last parts of this book touched my heart. You have to listen. If you have listened to fearless, this is the same story just more detailed. The narration is fabulous. If you are new to Chelle Bliss, you really just need to got to men of inked and start at the beginning, you won’t be disappointed.

Sage & Austin (& The Gallo Family!!!)
Any time I can visit the Gallos, I am a happy camper. Chelle Bliss wrote an amazing military romance that stole my heart. Austin is a Navy seal through and through. It's his calling, but when he is home and with his "family", the Gallos, he feels that there is something missing. When he meets Sage, he knows in his heart it may be her that he is missing. Sage enlisted in the Navy like her father and is proving to be the independent woman she was taught to be. Knowing Austin was going to be deployed as is she, there was no way she was going to give her heart to him. The two are friends, as good of friends as they can be. As time goes on though, feelings grow and directions change. How does that effect these two? Well, you will have to give this gem a listen to find out. All I can say is I would love to be one of the many at that Italian Sunday meal at the Gallos. I feel the love and happiness that the family has for one another, and every book just builds on that wonderful feeling. This is one of my favorites of the series and I can't wait to see who is next!
Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais. I don't need to say any more than that to let you know it is a book that should be one clicked. This team is magic with whatever book they narrate and this one is no exception. Brentmoor is the stubborn, vulnerable Sage with all the attitude and a huge heart full of love. Austin is lovable from the start, and Crais creates that warmth around him, whether friends or lovers, his feelings are on his sleeve. This is an amazing listen.

SWOOOOOOON
Just when I thought I couldn't love this series anymore!!
The banter & witty humor that I love most about the Gallo family is at a whole new level in this book.
I also really loved the connection between Sage & Austin and didn't want the story to end!

Fabulous Story, Characters & Listen🎧 Loved It❣️
Chelle Bliss’ Gallo world is one of my favorite places to visit and spend time in, and when she comes out with a new book, I know I am in for a treat. This series features characters that are the second generation of the original “Men of Inked” series and they are just as amazing, and as a bonus we get cameos of the original characters too. Family is everything to the Gallos, and their family is ever growing because when they accept you in you become one of their own. And that is how it was for Austin Moore, who is Pike’s younger brother. Pike and Gigi Gallo’s story was the first two “Heatwave” books, “Flame” and “Burn”. Austin was a troubled kid, got into things he shouldn’t have, but he got his act together and straightened up when taken under the Gallo wings, even following his footsteps to serve in the Navy. Sage Hill may have enlisted in the Navy to follow her father’s footsteps, but as a strong will and minded female, she is making her own path. While out with one of her fellow sailers she meets up with Austin, she was not giving him the time of day, or night, but he still looked out for her, despite her not needing to be looked out for. Neither one wanted to get involved in a relationship, but they just clicked and just went with the flow. They had a lot more in common than they first thought, but their time together was short because she was deploying and he was going back to the west coast. The timing was not right when they first met, but the chemistry was there and was it enough for them to wait for when the time was right? This captivating and wonderfully written and plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, Gallo family charm, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Chelle Bliss, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor continue to do an amazing job portraying these characters, humanizing them with their personalities, grasping all of their emotions and have you feeling them all. I loved how they took each role and made it their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters would sound. They handle the banter and witty dialogue with ease, landing the humor naturally and with ease. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration elevates this already fabulous story to another level. Thank you for another excellent listen.

What a way to end the heatwave series!
When we met Austin in earlier books in the series he was an angry boy with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. In this book he’s an honourable military man who serves his country as a navy seal. Sage is a strong independent woman who can hold her own against an alpha male. The competition and banter between the two of them is hilarious. Austin is sweet and Sage is a little prickly they make a good pair. I laughed and I cried this book had all the feels. The narration was great it really bought the story to life.

Amazing 🤩
I loved this story from when it was part of the Salvation Society and titled Fearless but now it’s even better as it comes with extra content. The story between Austin and Sage has a Navel theme and it’s a nice gateway from the usual MC route that Chelle Bliss runs with. The story is still completely connected to the Gallo family and has all the family feels but it’s not the main part of the story and they are really only connected because of the new content. The only issue I had was if you follow this series the new timeline doesn’t really slot in properly with some dialogue but it’s an easy over look.
Another great narration by Connor Crais and Samantha Brentmoor.

Good Listen
Sage and Austin meet in a bar and when she has car trouble like all the Gallo's he comes to her rescue. Little did they both know that this meeting would leave to so much more. Austin knows that he is taking a risk to be with Sage due to their different military ranks but one meeting with his family and she knows that she wants to be a part of the something special that they have. And then to find out that his family knows her family, it is meant to be. Good story and great installment to the series.

Absolutely brilliant
More about the enchanting Gallo family, this time the extended family. Austin and Sage are great together unfortunately she's not into one night stands and he's a higher ranked officer than her. Does that stop them from becoming more than friends nah. Another exciting Gallo family member story to tuck into. Loved it.
