About this listen
One elite fae warrior. Four superior officers. A bond they can’t remember - or resist.
Lera was once human. Now, with dark magic leaking into the mortal world, Lera and her four fae warriors must protect her home realm - even if that means going undercover to a human military academy. But when a sudden, terrible accident melds the males with their human disguise, everything changes. Now it’s up to Lera to make her mates remember themselves, their mission, and her, before the entire mortal world pays the price.
River, Shade, Tye, and Coal can’t overlook the gorgeous new cadet who’s just arrived at Great Falls Academy, but when the tantalizing Lera starts breaking rules and ignoring orders, the four senior officers intend to put her in her place. Lera will learn or she will quit - that is just how Great Falls works.
Rules of Stone is the first episode in the Great Falls Academy novella series, featuring the same reverse-harem cast as Alex Lidell’s internationally best-selling Power of Five series. Episodes (novellas) will be released in one-month intervals and feature a complete internal plot, as well as an overall season arc. (Listening to the Power of Five novels is not necessary to enjoy Great Falls Academy.)
Join Lera and her males for an all-new Power of Five adventure!

Great World Buildinng
This was a great start to the Great Falls Academy series! Even though this is my first book by Alex, I didn’t feel lost and this series can stand on its own, but I do plan to go back to The Power of Five series. Dark magic is leaking into the mortal world and Lera is willing to do anything to protect her home even if she has to go undercover to Great Falls Academy, a military institute. Her four men get stripped of their memories and mission and it’s up to her to save them and her home. Coal, River, Shade, and Tye see her as a new cadet and want to put her in her place since she’s disobedient, but who will be successful in their mission? Cole is now a ruthless instructor, River is the Deputy Headmaster, Shade is a killer, and Tye is an sporty cadet. I really enjoyed the world that Alex has created and the magical system within it. This book was fast paced, magical, filled with some steamy scenes, and left me wanting to know what’ll happen next!
Victoria did a really good job with this narration. I loved how well she brought Lera’s character to life and her voice had an easy flow to it.

Gripping action and romance
I really love these series of books and so happy to see its back. All the action is really gripping and the characters have depth and are believable. I look forward to the next book (I’ve already bought the e-book version).

Rules of Stone
Going undercover leads to so many complications that we just don’t see coming. I loved what has been thrown at us so far and can’t wait to see the outcome in the future.

Great start to the series with good narration
Oooo I like the way Victoria Mei narrates this story, though in my head the guys had slightly different voices to the ones she gave them, lol.
I do really like these characters, I've read all of the previous books, apart from the last one in that series, so some things were new to me. But oh what a pickle!!! I have so many questions that I now need answers to...but I love the set up of the story and am itching to know more.

Hot, quick, and steamy
Rules of stone is a 'spin-off' comprising the first book in a new, episodic/serialised set of novellas featuring the characters everyone loved last time around. It's set approximately 6 months after the conclusion of the series, but works as a standalone.
This audiobook is a steamy reverse-harem adventure in a rich fantasy setting. Well narrated by Victoria Mei, it is fun and engaging. If you liked Alex Lidell's novels then you'll enjoy this, too.

Narrator was fabulous & great story, recommended!
I really enjoyed this short story, and am looking forward to continuing with Episode 2! It has a plausible premise, although it's a real mystery what's going on because it didn't reveal the full story in this (being just Episode 1) so I'm now eager to check out Episode 2!
I'd like to compliment the narrator, Victoria Mei, on her performance of multiple characters and accents. As a narrator myself (who can't do any other accents besides American), I found her accents very consistent and believable, and although she spoke as several male characters, it was always abundantly clear who was speaking. On top of that, her cadence, tone and timing were all very good. Sometimes a narrator's delivery can become annoying over time, but I truly enjoyed her storytelling!

excellent!
Not having read any of this authors storys I didn't know what to expect and I really loved it! I think I will need to go back and read the other series. Although I dint think its necessary as it works fine without but I think it will enhance this series having all of the background.
brilliantly written characters and a complex woven tale keeps your attention easily.
highly recommended.

Amnesia
Strong willed Lera once mortal, is now a fae along with her bonded 4 fae warriors, River, Shade, Tye, and Coal.
The 5 of them are on a mission undercover at a mortal military academy to find how the dark magic is leaking into the mortal world. Through happenstance Lera is the only one of her mates that doesn't fall pray to amnesia like symptoms and it's up to her to help her mates remember her and the reason why they are there.
Victoria Mei does a fantastic job narrating this story guiding you into a virtual reality and imagining you're witnessing part of the story. Really enjoyed this short and I can't wait to find out what happens next in the next book, Crime and punishment!
