Summary

From the author of Ultimate Level 1: Bonded to a powerful dragon, Kaen finds himself at the helm of challenging expeditions . . . and an unexpected love.

Before Kaen can win a battle—much less a war—he must learn how to harness the incredible energy of his lifestone, and identify who is friend and who is foe as others join his cause. Trained by the aging Elies and his dragon, Tharnok, Kaen and his own dragon, Pammon, urge each other harder and higher with every practice run, all in service of the fight that is ultimately Kaen's destiny.

The thrill of challenges in far-flung kingdoms ignites a kind of joy Kaen has never felt before. Even the sometimes-messy work of learning Pammon's quirks is exciting. But it's a woman named Ava who lights an unmistakably passionate spark in him. However, he must fulfill his purpose before laying claim to the bright promise of a future with the woman he loves.

Meanwhile, Kaen's dreams are haunted by Stioks, the heartless villain responsible for his father's death. Now, he must determine whether to risk flying across the great waters to find the land of the dragons and recruit some aid—or face off against Stioks directly, despite being massively outnumbered.

Encompassing adventures both breathtaking and perilous, Rise of the Last Dragon Rider is the thrilling continuation of the story of a hero's journey—perfect for fans of Christopher Paolini and Rick Riordan alike.

The second volume of the hit LitRPG adventure series—with almost two million views on Royal Road—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!

A different take on Dragons in fantasy

A great story that keeps you entertained and with a lot of details about fights are protrayed while also always letting the reader know how the characters are feeling

Great continuation

Really enjoyed this book. I thought the series was going to be a rip off of Eragon. However I was greatly surprised how good it was. There are similarities between them but still totally different. Look forward to book 3...
