About this listen
The Stormlight Archive saga continues in Rhythm of War, the sensational fourth book in Brandon Sanderson's #1 New York Times bestselling series.
After forming a coalition of human resistance against the enemy invasion, Dalinar Kholin and his Knights Radiant have spent a year fighting a protracted, brutal war. Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar's crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move.
Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin's scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. The arms race that follows will challenge the very core of the Radiant ideals, and potentially reveal the secrets of the ancient tower that was once the heart of their strength.
At the same time that Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with his changing role within the Knights Radiant, his Windrunners face their own problem: As more and more deadly enemy Fused awaken to wage war, no more honorspren are willing to bond with humans to increase the number of Radiants. Adolin and Shallan must lead the coalition's envoy to the honorspren stronghold of Lasting Integrity and either convince the spren to join the cause against the evil god Odium, or personally face the storm of failure.

Another wonderful book in the series.
Brandon Sanderson continues his epic masterpiece, with this brilliant and complex latest episode.
As always narrated with the superb storytelling skills of two of the best narrators in the audiobook world - Michael Kramer and Kate Reading.
I really hope I don’t have to wait too long for the next instalment. 👍👍👍

Too addictive, he warned, it'll consume you
It took some getting used to the changes in narrator, but the story s excellent as expected. Twists, turns, plots and ploys. Literally couldn't stop listening, especially near the end. Can't wait for the next book...

Great moments, one disappointing arc
I’ll refrain from adding any spoilers to this review.
The good - There are a lot of great moments in this book and I genuinely enjoyed it. The book continues to explore themes of identity, depression and tribalism in absolutely amazing ways. Each section of the story played out similar to what I imagined as I got through the book, but there was always a small twist in each reveal with huge rippling effects.
The unfortunate - there’s a certain character who’s time I thought had finally come to an end, only now it seems this character will be a very key player in the books to come having just taken on a large mantle. I’m not sure why the character bores me so much, perhaps his arcs just feel dull even though it’s portrayed as ‘complicated’.
Shame to say I’m not enthusiastic about the future books and struggled to care about the final part of this book.
Brandon knows how to create an amazing world and develop some amazing characters, and this book is no exception - here’s to hoping this one choice doesn’t make future instalments feel like a drag.

i love this serie buuuut
I love this book series but this book had such a slow spot around the middle of the book that I considered to stop listening because I was afraid the rest of the book would be as slow / boring luckily it picked up ^^ and reminded me why I love this series so much. I'm excited for the next one and hope the audio book has the same voice actors they are incredible.

My favourite book so far.
I found that this book really caught my imagination and I found myself visualising It more than the previous iterations.
Now I will set an alarm for 4 years time to remind myself to listen to book 5
