Good Parenting Audiobook
I really needed this audiobook as my kids are entering their early twenties - it's been quite the journey! The narrator's warm, engaging voice made the content feel like advice from a wise friend over coffee. I especially loved the practical communication strategies and ways to step back while still staying connected. You know that tricky balance of letting go while being there for support? This book gets it. The listening experience was smooth and clear, making it easy to absorb the helpful insights during my morning walks. Honestly wish I'd found this sooner.

This is fantastic for parents who are in the transition period of raising teenagers and supporting them into adulthood. I like how it is written with a compassionate tone, is relatable, realistic, and actionable. Hitting the right balance between giving your teenager space and cultivating a strong lasting connection can be tough there are nuances to it, but this will lead you in the right direction!

A transition
Going from parenting teens to young adults is almost as big of a transition as parenting children to teens, if you know what I mean. It's another phase of life, it's crazy. And I think that having a book like this, to understand the transition is super helpful! Even for a young adult, to get where parents are coming from.

The communication tips were so eye-opening.
I was struggling to connect with my 21-year-old son. We argued a lot, and I felt like I was losing him. This book helped me step back and really listen to him. I started following the advice, and now we talk without fighting. It’s not easy, but I feel like we’re closer again. If you’re feeling lost as a parent, this book can really help.

Parenting Doesn't Stop at 18
This audiobook was a lifesaver as I navigated some tricky conversations with my daughter recently. I was feeling a little lost on how to approach some sensitive topics, and the tips on respectful communication and active listening were incredibly helpful. It really gave me a framework for understanding her perspective and having productive conversations, rather than just arguments. I feel like we're connecting so much better now, and I owe a lot of that to the insights in this book.
