vampire

I enjoyed the dual narration of Benjamin Crow and Kirsty Geddes

We first meet Simon, a Vampire, in the 1600s. His job it is to hunt rogue Vampires for his clan . 200 years he has hunted and killed those who threaten his clan. Changes are happening in Vampire world. He meets Lina whose free spirited, and passion, makes Simon fall in love. Simon must know choose between love or loyalty.

This book has humour, action, pace and a wonderful set of characters of monsters, spirits, gods and wizards

Creatures of old

Loved that vampires in this story not only have heartbeats but can eat and drink like humans too.
Really well narrated story and so many different creatures in the mix of it.
I don’t like the ending but that’s only my point of view but who knows what happens if there is book 2

Amazing!

Loved this book! this is the first vampire book I have listened to, and i will 100% listen to it again in the future. I love the slow progession of power Simon gets and how he is able to overcome each battle.

Narrator's done a fabulous job! they portrayed Simon and Lina perfectly!

would definitely recommend this book!

Slow Burn with great narration

This is a slow story, with a very journal like feeling. At first I worried Romance would take up too much, but that was not the case. The protagonist solves his problems quite fast, which to me makes the story a bit simple and repetitive. I think this can be a good bedtime story as you can enjoy the story even if you miss a minute here or there.
