About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
A gorgeously romantic new novella set in the world of Becky Albertalli's best-selling and beloved Simonverse novels: Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, The Upside of Unrequited and Leah on the Offbeat.
It's been more than a year since Simon and Blue turned their anonymous online flirtation into an IRL relationship and just a few months since Abby and Leah's unforgettable night at senior prom.
Now the Creekwood High crew are first years at different colleges, navigating friendship and romance the way their story began - on email.
The beloved, award-winning novel, Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda is now a major motion picture starring 13 Reasons Why's Katherine Langford and Everything, Everything's Nick Robinson.

Plot-less fan fic
I am a big fan of the Albertalli universe and was really looking forward to it but ultimately disappointed. Basic storytelling is about giving your story conflict and there was minuscule conflict. The majority of the text was about how much the couples loved each other. Most irritably, the narrators read out all of the group email addresses and sometimes the content is only one line. It seemed like one od the narrator Michael Crouch was rushing reading out all the email addresses like he was bored and wanted to get it over with.
Only in the last half hour did something really happen.
I have loved of Albertalli's other books, and it was lucky it was 2.5 hours because for the first time I couldn't wait for it to be over.
The repetitive reading of email addresses became tedious and I just couldn't enjoy it. All of the narrators are prefect, Micheal Crouch resumes his role as Simon, Kate Rudd was Leah instead of Shannon Purser who narrated Leah on the Offbeat, newcomer James Fouhey as Bram and Bhani Turpin as Abbie. In the film Love Simon and Leah on the Offbeat, Abbie is described as a bi-racial. Turpin's voice was perfect as she narrates similar stories with characters of colour such as Kathryn Stockett's The Help. Her voice really brought the character to life and I adore her voice.
Fantastic voice acting but no real plot line but the open ending leaves the potential for another book.
