About this listen
What do you get when you mix an incubus bite with a vampire bite?
A shitastrophe.
All I wanted to do was go to a bar and drown my sorrows in some alcohol, but I had to get attacked by an incubus. Now, I'm being guarded by a hunky but oh-so-irritating vampire (who bit me, too) while the incubus stalks me.
Being guarded by the sexy vampire probably wouldn't be that bad if not for the fact that my perfect boss has finally noticed me. Try dating while a vampire guards you way too closely and an incubus tracks your every move, waiting to pounce.
Then, there's some creepy hunter guy who also wants to kill me. The sun wants to kill me. Human food wants to kill me. Don't even get me started on my family.

Vampire Fantasy at its finest
This series isn’t just a story—it’s a bloody brilliant experience. The author’s talent shines through every page, weaving a world that feels alive with characters who stay with you and feel like friends you've know forever! I love how Danny is unlike any protagonist you’ve read before. She is flawed, relatable, and achingly human. Her struggles with trauma and love are so raw and real that you feel every step of her journey as if it were your own. You feel her growth throught the series, not a typical "everything I do is somehow perfect" character. At times you will scream at her and times you will want to hug her. Either way she's brilliant.
There’s a sense of something bigger unfolding with each chapter, a careful build toward a crescendo you can’t yet see but can feel coming. You can tell how much heart and effort has gone into every word, every twist. And i absolutely love that about crystals writting. It’s not just a book you’ll devour once; it’s one you’ll want to return to again and again, finding new layers each time. This isn’t just vampire fantasy—it’s storytelling at its finest. I honestly just love her work
The narrator had a huge challenge to capture all the magic in the book and I can tell you she absolutely nailed it! Best book and narrator combo ever!!

Amazing
So I have listened to this set of amazing books more than once and I love them. So much going on and always leaves you wanting more. Love all the characters and how they all just work so well. Totally favourite set of books I have listened too and read in a long time.!!
Going to by the paper books soon to add to my collection.

Great
Really enjoyed listening Danni is headstrong and even though Ryder warns her what she should and shouldn’t do she goes ahead and does it her way and suffers.

Trashy Fun
this was exactly what I was looking for, as something to listen to while I do repeating tasks. just some trashy fun. as long as you go in not expecting subtle writing and a deeply intricate plot. it's just fun effervescent trashy vampy romance and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Such wasted potential
This had the Jones to make a brilliant story,it left me wanting ,the constant inner dialogue of female lead was annoying, her insecurities etc will not bother with the rest of the books in this series I read it twice just to be sure it's not for me.
