Sexy and such a brilliant lead character
The Shadowbeast series has really been fantastic to listen to. Yes they are sexy paranormal books but the characters are really engaging and likeable. The entire Shadowbeast universe and Solaris system is so clever and richly descriptive. I have now listened to the entire series and had to come back to write a review. The narrators really did an excellent job and the author deserves more recognition for such an imaginative series. I can't wait for more books in this series.
I really do recommend this book. Be warned it is very sexually explicit but the storyline is definitely not your usual erotica. I would love to see this series as films. The world created by the author is rich with detail and really clever.

Stick with it
The first book took me a while to get into. Was very dragged out getting into the story and parts boring and unnecessary for the storyline. Second and Third Books absolutely loved! Had me hooked from the 1st chapter. You need the first story for background but stick with it and gets so much better

What a book!!!
I just found this author and started with this series, i devoured all three books and went straight to this audio which didn’t let me down one little bit!!!!! This audio was everything I needed and more!!!!!

Very much enjoyed this audio book.
Funny and full of surprises
I think however that the man’s voice is a bit too deep and no offence but sounds old. It was a bit hard to envision a tough sexy guy with this voice. Sorry maybe this is just me being fussy 🤩

Love this story to read but disappointed in the audio
I absolutely LOVED reading this book. I absolutely LOVE Michelle Sparks and her vocalisation of Mera is just perfect and so believable. But it was really let down by the male narrator - I just could not connect to the characters through his voice, especially Shadow, as he sounded old and a bit more like a gruff slightly Scottish uncle than a sexy shifter god. Really disappointingly I chose to stop listening because it just wasn’t how I had imagined from the book.

Awesome tale telling!
Another phenomenal world has been birthed from Jamin Eves wonderfully fertile imagination! A complex funny, action packed and often brutal storyline is populated by superbly developed characters who sprung off the page into 3d colour!
Couldn't stop lisyening, I'm so looking forward to book two!
Highly recommended!
Sunning narration brought all the characters to life. Wonderful.

i avoided for the longest time owing to the image on the cover
... the image suggesting it was just another sex filled badly writen shifter story, but gave it a try after reading the reviews..I am happy to say it has been a good story and one I am eager to pursue to the next book. I am routing for the shadow beast and hope he did not course the death of Danny
