Summary

Another brilliant book in the series
The Nightingale books are all fantastic, including this one. If you've read the previous books, I recommend this one, it doesn't disappoint ... if you're new to Nightingale, start at book 1.
Stephen Leather's writing is great. The characters are very believable in such a strange scenario, and Jack's character just gets better. Paul Thornley IS Jack, as always!

Great book and a stephen is the best

Loved yet another great read from this truly gifted author Stephen Leather , Jack Nightingale just managing to survive by the skin of his teeth . Saving himself and a one of his nine or more lives full of intrigue and true grit . Really exciting and enjoyable .

Superb
Fabulous audiobook as usual,from the fantastic Mr Leather.Great storyline , slightly different than previous books but still amazing writing.As for the narration,always superb when listening to the extremely talented Mr Thornley. I can’t wait for the next instalment.

A very good listen.
I love the Nightingale series, it's twists and turns are always welcome but I enjoy how the author makes it very clear that the demons are not to be toyed with, unlike other books that usually give them a humans ethics.
