Just Fantastic

I have read so many of Stephen Leathers books I have lost count and this is one of the best. While the Dan Shepherd series is getting a little, let’s say, predictable, Triggers feels fresh, exciting and new while staying in the Dan Shepherd stable. I hope to see more in this series from the magnificent Mr Leather and not to forget, the beautiful narration by Paul Thornley.

Interesting and thought provoking entertainment, well executed.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Excitement at every turn. I would recommend it for a nail biting, edge of your chair experience.

An enjoyable read

A novel idea that was developed well - even if it appeared a little contrived at first. The voices of the narrator do give away some of the final plot however it was still very enjoyable. I am looking forward to any potential sequel in this series.

Triggers

Enjoyable but different main character. Well written storyline development. Yes, far fetched, but nevertheless very entertaining.

What a twist

A great pairing of Stephen Leather and Paul Thornley delivers yet again. In a double twist and shock that only made sense once you knew it, it delivered a knock out punch. A riveting story that ebbs and flows as the character builds and the action that follows is brutal and unforgiving. Great story amongst this genre.

Who is who??

Great story line with twists and turns. It was confusing to start with but soon came to light who and what was happening.

Stunning new character !!, more please

Stephen Leather is a master of the thriller genre, and his latest novel, Triggers, is no exception. This fast-paced, action-packed story follows Marianne, a highly skilled assassin who is hellbent on revenge. Marianne is a complex and sympathetic character, and her journey is both thrilling and heartbreaking.

The plot of Triggers is expertly crafted, with plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. The action scenes are visceral and well-described, and the suspense is palpable. Leather also does a great job of developing the supporting characters, who are all well-rounded and believable.

One of the things that I really enjoyed about Triggers is how it feels like a love child of Leather's Spider Shepherd and Jack Nightingale series. Marianne has the same kind of dark past and troubled psyche as Spider Shepherd, but she also possesses the same kind of supernatural abilities as Jack Nightingale. This combination of elements makes for a truly unique and compelling read.

Overall, Triggers is a fantastic thriller that I highly recommend. It's a must-read for fans of Stephen Leather, and it's sure to please fans of the thriller genre in general. I'm already eagerly awaiting Leather's next book.

I would also like to add that I would love to see Stephen Leather write more books about Marianne. She is a fascinating character with a lot of potential, and I would love to see her story continue. I'm sure that Leather could create even more exciting and suspenseful adventures for her.
