Summary
From USA Today best-selling author Devney Perry comes a small town, neighbors to lovers romance.
Memphis Ward arrives in Quincy, Montana, on the fifth worst day of her life. She needs a shower. She needs a snack. She needs some sanity. Because moving across the country with her newborn baby is by far the craziest thing she’s ever done.
But maybe it takes a little crazy to build a good life. If putting the past behind her requires a thousand miles and a new town, she’ll do it if it means a better future for her son. Even if it requires setting aside the glamour of her former life. Even if it requires working as a housekeeper at The Eloise Inn and living in an apartment above a garage.
It’s there, on the fifth worst day of her life, that she meets the handsomest man she’s ever laid eyes on. Knox Eden is a beautiful, sinful dream, a chef and her temporary landlord. With his sharp, stubbled jaw and tattooed arms, he’s raw and rugged and everything she’s never had - and never will. Because after the first worst day of her life, Memphis learned a good life requires giving up on her dreams too. And a man like Knox Eden will only ever be a dream.

Fab series
Really enjoyed the previous book in this series and although this second book didn’t have the same level of suspense as the first, it still kept me engrossed. Really likeable characters and fantastic narration as every by the wonderful Maxine Michell and Jason Clarke a solid five stars

Devney Perry is becoming a favourite…
Second book in the series, and I’m still loving it! This one didn’t have as much suspense as you we didn’t have a murder but there was still secrets and I still ate it up!
Juniper Hill is where Knox Eden lives. It’s his sanctuary, his quiet place away from the gossiping small town of Quincy. But that’s disturbed when the new housekeeper of his family’s hotel moves into the apartment of his garage, which her screaming new born. Memphis and her baby boy, Drake, have moved to Quincy for a fresh start but little did she know she was now neighbours with the grumpy chef she’ll be seeing everyday. What happens when Memphis needs support from Knox?
Don’t get me wrong, I loved this book but something about the first book made this not on par with it. I loved the single parent trope aspect of this book and the secrets surrounding why Memphis needed a fresh start. Grumpy Knox turn caring Knox was incredible and honestly made the book 10 times better. Not many men would be willing to let strangers live with him AND step up when needed.
Overall, I’m in love with this series and shall be binging the rest until I no longer have an Eden sibling story to read.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved it
Don’t know about the voice actors but I got used to them as the story progressed. The story itself is amazing but I did feel like sometimes the voice acting was a bit monotoned.
That being said I definitely enjoyed the book.
