About this listen
A quote and poem guide to inspire you through the storms you face today for a better tomorrow.
Often times we become vulnerable in dark places, thoughts of giving up due to the losses of loved ones, tragedies, obstacles, disappointments, trust, betrayal, setbacks, hurt and pain, or just life itself, period!
We sit in dark places deteriorating our minds and souls with negative thoughts of which we seem to can’t control, yet the mind is powerful. You think negative, everything will be negative, you think positive, positive things will happen.
Giving up is not an option. You’re only hurting yourself. When you dig deep down inside and realize, yes...“I’m going through the storm but I can’t stay here, I have to fight and push through”. At this point, you don’t want to be bothered, being alone feels best, and you can’t count on man to help you. So, what do you do? Turn to God, you pray, you read the bible, God said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you”, those words give you hope, you inspire yourself, you uplift your way through, you also feel like God has left you but that’s not true. Part of you know, this rut, this dark place is not for you, it’s not where you intended to be and it’s definitely not where you are going to stay.
Life has its ups and downs. Life teaches us to become stronger, wiser than we was before, it brings out strength we never thought we had. If we don’t go through something how would we know if we’re strong enough to handle certain situations? The test you go through today will be the testimony you share to help someone else tomorrow.
