Something a little different even if a bit lovvey

Well, it's aimed at the YA market and I'm a little old for this classification. I normally can happily read this material. Overall I enjoyed the story. The drive technology idea and how it all came together. The 3 books were well written even if at times I wanted to yell something at the young lad possibly give him a good talking to. But that's probably a good thing - the story was meaning something to me! The narrator was excellent.

overall I liked the story but to wishy-washy

Overall I liked the story but a little to wishy-washy lovey dovey for me & I think the writer had a bet with someone as to how often he could get the word leonine into the story. The performance was top notch, so on the whole a good listen.
