the mindset leads you to better communication
There are so many great things about this book. I don't know where to start. I love how this book brings in so many aspects of parenting and communicating in a positive way. It talks about the practical things of what to do and how to do them but also goes deeper to talk about your mindset while you're parenting. That really makes a big difference. When you think about some of these things differently, it makes it easier to act differently. It's almost like once you change the mindset then the better actions come along with it naturally.

A Dad’s Balanced Approach for Great Communication with Kids
The author organized the seemingly overwhelming task of effective communication with kids into a comprehensible and do-able approach for Dads. Following his guidelines will help create an honest and nurturing understanding between children and their fathers. What most impressed me was the mutual respect this book’s method develops between children and their fathers.

insightful guide to communicating with kids
As a nonparent, I approached "How to Talk to Anyone, Even Kids" with some skepticism, wondering if its focus on parenting dynamics would resonate with my own experiences. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the book's universal insights into effective communication that extend beyond the parent-child relationship. The writing style is clear and accessible, making it easy for readers of all backgrounds to understand the strategies and techniques presented. The book doesn't rely on complex theories but instead offers actionable tips for building stronger connections with kids. The emphasis on avoiding yelling and finding alternative ways to grab kids' attention is particularly relevant in today's world. As well as providing valuable insights into parenting, the guide offers valuable advice on how to promote respectful and positive communication.

Just what I needed
I tend to go to volume 11 straight away when I get annoyed with my kids. My explanation is that it's not because this is the first time they've done the stupid thing in question, it's because it's the 100th time. This book gave me the tools to remind myself that kids are just looking out for themselves, and it's for me to build the connection with them, not the other way around, and to gain the empathy that mothers appear to be born with, Thoroughly recommend.
