About this listen
The end of Nathan's struggle arrives as the immortal masterminds threatening his world show a personal interest.
Demonic invasions ripple across the land, and Nathan questions if any moral line in the sand is worth the death of his loved ones. His years of preparation to save Doumahr may vanish overnight as he faces an onslaught intended to end everything.
Where the goddess Omria failed time and time again over countless millennia to defeat her tormentors, Nathan must succeed. His second chance in life burns in front of his eyes. There won't be a third. Nathan will either defend his home, or he won't have one.
In the end, is it truly heresy if nobody is left to judge him for it?

Amazing end to the books
The series of hole were excellent, and K D Robertson did a great job in finishing it with a bang instead of a whimper

Finale!!
Such a brilliant end to a awesome series. The book finishes with all threads tied up. While the end fight can feel a little lackluster, going into it with the realisation that the Outer Being "the boss" is simply fighting Nathan in a situation where any outcome is a success even defeat.
