Summary
A Gotrek Gurnisson audio drama collection.
One of the most enduring characters in Warhammer fiction has made the leap to the Mortal Realms, and this series of audio dramas will give you fresh insight into what makes the Realmslayer tick.
Listen to it because...in the World-that-Was, Gotrek Gurnisson was a whirlwind of fury on a quest for redemption. In the Mortal Realms, he remains a whirlwind of fury on a quest for redemption - and where slaying the worst that the worlds of Warhammer have to offer is concerned, there's a lot to be said for consistency. Come along for the ride with the slayer himself with this collection of Gotrek audio dramas written by David Guymer.

Excellent performance from Brian Blessed
It’s great to listen to more Brian Blessed as Gotrek - I hope they make another series like this with him narrating to continue his story

Id class this as a Gotrek and Felix
For me personally it’s the final Hurrah to Gotrek and Felix, (spoilers, Gotrek is trying to get to Felix) after Slayer, but the voice of Brian, I’d personally say this is more of the perspective of Gotrek coming to grips with the reality that he is in, the Legend of a Doomseeker, follows the audiobook to an extent cutting out some drama side of it, but feeling much like a Gotrek book read by Jonathan Keeble, spoilers, their is a part in this version that shows Jordane fighting the Sotek (lizardmen holding them back for Gotrek) in LOD it shows the other perspective that Jordane, goes peacefully and without a fight, showing a difference of perspective, while also holding that while he saw Gotrek shouting something and running off, we know it’s him shouting “Die we’ll storm cast whatever that means to a immortal”

Fantastic and over the top.
I loved this audio book. The stories were fun, the voice acting phenomenal with some brilliant sound effects used to create atmosphere. certainly an audio drama/epic. I loved Brian Blessed as Gotrek, he just owned the role, I may be biased as I think he is brilliant mind. Saying this alot of effort went into all the voice acting and they put alot of effort into their roles. I'll be listening to this again soon I imagine.

fantastic audiobook very much a movie in your ears, I will always prefer Johnathan Keebles Dulset tones but this was fun for a one off. Gotrek and his saga is just some of the best fantasy ever.

Amazing!
As a fan of Gotrek and Felix this was so well voiced! I felt as though I was inside the book watching the journey step by step! I also enjoy playing War Hammer Total War 1/2/3 and it made me want to load up a game and live out some of the story hahaha.
All in all a definite one to listen to!

Came for Gotrek, got Grandad Pig 🙈
If you listen with fresh ears, it's OK at best.
if you liked the old G&F books and have children, it's just Grandad Pig walking around with a load of overacted.
Keeble was again, excellent.
