When I first realized that I could see the dead, I never imagined that it would allow me to help save the lives of others, or pull me into Detective Maddox Booker’s path. Through my ability, ghosts have become some of my greatest friends and allies.
But now, someone’s dead, and his ghost is gone. Ghosts have sought my help for my entire life, wanting to be heard. Now, something is keeping them quiet, almost hostile. as our search for the ghost of the dead man leads us to a small village. Even though everything looks normal on the outside, I’m starting to wonder what’s happening on the inside.
Maddox
Life is better than it’s ever been. Hiro’s by my side, and has brought my best friend Reggie back into my life - if we can consider Reggie’s harassment (even as a ghost) a positive. And even Hiro’s horde of ghosts won’t keep me from asking him to move in with me. The only issue is that, work is never quiet, especially when Hiro is able to dive into a whole new side of a case by speaking to the victims of the dead.
But, when someone takes Hiro from me in the middle of the night, I know that I will do absolutely anything to get him back, and I will make them pay for what they’ve done.
Ghost of Truth is full of action, mystery, humor, and romance. Though more is planned for this couple, the mystery is solved - and there is a happy ending.

Enjoyable Story

A brilliantly written compulsive book a must for people who like the genre
I thoroughly enjoyed this book I found it gripping and touching and suspenseful all at the same time it is so well written and the performance on audible is absolutely brilliant I won't go on about the whole story I do not want to spoil it for anyone but all I would say is you're missing something really great if you don't give this ago .. thoroughly recommended

Fantastic narration
Greg Boudreaux narrates this superbly. Each of the cast has their own voice that is easy to distinguish. I loved the story just as much second time around

Great characters and storyline.
I have really enjoyed all of Alice Winters books so far and I think Hiro and Maddox are one of my favourite couples in her books. I don't mind the sex scenes at all and all of it is narrated by Greg Bourdreaux/ Trembley, who is by far one of the best narrators/ voice actors out there, and I've listened to a lot of audio books. I honestly can't wait for more.

Loved it
Another great book from Alice Winter. The second book in this series doesn't disappoint at all. It has the usual fantastic characters, a great storyline with plenty of intrigue and the humour that Alice always brings. As usual the narration was fabulous and just perfect for these characters.

Kept listening all the way through
The story kept me guessing all the way through and as I was on holiday was able (and wanted to) listen the whole day while potering around.
The story was well read and thanks to the narrators skill, I was never confused about what characters were talking and the emotions were set at the right pitch.

Loved this book!!
I truly enjoyed this book. The story was very interesting, there were twists and turns along the way and the humour had me laughing out loud. The narrator was also great. Not only did he do a great job with the various characters but the inflection of the lines made them sound as they should, i.e. humourous, sad, etc. I would love to read more books in this series.

Funny
Hiro and Maddox have another case to solve which got weirder and creepier as the story progressed.
Reggie made me crack up; he was entertaining and his fantasies - well suffice to say, they were wild.
Narrator’s performance was excellent.
