Fatal Reaction, Survival
There are many more things I learn with this book and how people can become crazy by witnessing such horrific things. I also can see how strong people can be surviving this situation. I loved this book just as much as the first and can’t wait to listen to the next!

Dystopia
I loved book one so I had to get my hands on book two and the author did not disappoint. We find more survivors and how they interact with others. The book is fast paced with twist and turns and it is from multiple pov's.
Be warned the book has graphic violence not just to humans but animals too. I would not recommend you listen to it while you are eating. I can't remember if there were any profanity but there is no sexual content that all happens behind closed doors.
My only negative is the relationship between two characters. I did not feel the connection between them and the male character was meant to be mourning his wife who he loved and yet less than a month he falls in love with someone else. I found that really hard to believe. But other than this it is a brilliant read.
I would recommend it.

2nd in series
Book 2 in the Fatal Reaction Series finds the survivors of an unidentified illness struggling to survive the aftermath of a world wide pandemic. They also have to deal with a mysterious arrival. I found this to be a good sequel to book one and once again the story moved along at a good pace with interesting characters. The narrator did a nice job with the text and I am looking forward to listening to the next book.

Great Story!!
Fatal Reaction, Survival is the second book in the Fatal Reaction series and a very entertaining audiobook. The writing and plot are great. Michelle Ann Hollstein is a fantastic author with great imagination. She has created a post-apocalyptic world with well-developed characters, zombies and aliens. I had fun listening to this series. My only objection is, at times, some of the characters make foolish survival choices.
Tim Jackson is an amazing narrator, his reading is precise and literally bringing the characters to life. Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook and recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading/listening to sci-fi, post-apocalyptic genre.
I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Hooked straight in.
I listened to the second book first, by mistake, but could not stop listening. Hooked straight in, and listened to the whole thing. Already downloaded the first one, yes it is that good, I am going to listen to the first one! Love Tim Jackson narrating, he has a great voice.
Greatly disappointed when it finished, I just wanted to hear more, got a tad carried away with it.
Looking forward to the first book, and will be checking out the authors other works.
Great Listen.

Not my people I'm afraid of - it's what's coming.
"It's not my people I'm afraid of - it's what's coming."
Three weeks have passed since the virus wiped out most of humanity. The scattered survivors mostly stay alone, doors closed to anyone in case they are sick. Only one person was known to have survived after catching the infection, Bill's little son, Benjamin, but not before he had murdered his mother. Now he, his dad and another woman, Amanda are just trying to survive. Sheriff Mike Wilson and Ellie are hopeful of finding others like themselves - there's safety in numbers - and are looking after an elderly neighbour. Ellie has also seen video footage of a teenage, red headed youth who seems to be on his own. But there are also small gangs beginning to form that look dangerous. The phone lines went down, electricity, too. But that latter was restored when the spaceships arrived. And the big silver ship sat above them in the sky, silent, not moving, doing nothing, just being. Until a white light started to flash in the centre...
The book is nicely written, building tension, the oppression of the ship's presence constantly there. The story line moves between different people, their fears and their hopes expressed, their actions followed. It is not dependent on major confrontations, though they do occure, but on the internal observations of each separate character. The people become very real, their reactions what might be in such a situation. It is cleverly presented to give the reader the feeling of actually being there, with the terrors and uncertainties of life threatening unknowns.
Narrator, Tim Jackson, has a pleasing mellow voice with just a tiny undertone of the sinister just below the surface, perfect for this book. His pace is not fast, no histrionics, but steady, which curiously increases the tension. It feels like breaking point is not far away. His voicing of each protagonist is individual and appropriate. A fine performance.
My thanks to the rights holder of Fatal Reaction: Survival, who, at my request, freely gifted me a complimentary copy, via Audiobook Boom. This is an unusual apocalyptic story, not just the average survival after the disaster book. And with more still to come, I am very much looking forward to the continuation in book three.

Fatal reaction Survival
I was given a free copy of this book and I'm leaving an honest and voluntary review.
what's not to like Zombies and aleins, such a perfect combo. The survivors haven't had it easy, the cursed wanting to kill them, gangs out for what ever they can get and aleins in the sky.
The story is very well written and thought out.
The narration was brilliantly done.
the book ends on a cliff hanger baiting you, enticing you to want to know what's.gonna happen next.
easy 5 star.
