Summary

Lina remembers everything.

Armed with Nord and her reawakened powers, Lina will not rest until she finds the man responsible for her murder. However, rediscovering her complicated history with the man who killed her also reveals something much darker.

Lina is one of the heirs to the notorious criminal order, the Mobius Council, an organization that the Brotherhood has been seeking to destroy for decades.

Hunted by her murderer, wanted by the Brotherhood, and struggling to relearn her powers, Lina will need to put everything on the line to reclaim her life. Failure isn't an option. Because losing means forfeiting the one thing she holds above everything else. Nord.

This is the second book in the Undercover Magic series, picking up where Hint of Danger leaves off.

Recommended for ages 18 and older due to adult language, content, and scenes with graphic violence.

Give me more!!!

Another brilliant book that I just couldn't 'put down'. Sleep be damned - I needed to know what happened next. I'm one of those annoying people that predicts the next part of a movie and I just couldn't with this series. I love it. I cant wait to see where the journey takes us next.

Magical thrilling suspense

Oh SWOON, gimme a sexy Viking Berserker like Nord any day!

The 2nd book of this series gives you more of a background and deeper explanation of what happened to Lina before she got her memories back, her murder, who she is, as well as how she became a ghost and how she was brought back. It entails a lot of information, which paints a picture of the characters and events, which for me as a reader/listener is interesting and important so it does not feel rushed.

She is reunited with her best friend Quinn and her beloved uncle Alistair. Also, still by her side are sexy berserker Nord, who will do anything to protect his Lina and his guardian brother Finley. Together they search for Lina´s murderer, the closer they get the more secrets are revealed and some of them truly shocking.

Finley is still one of my favourite side characters and I do love the bromance he has with Nord. There is also this brewing chemistry between Finley and Quinn, where you think "get it on already you two".

The storyline has me hooked. I love this world that Meg has created as it is something, I haven´t really listened to/read before. It is interesting, the characters and storyline are well explained, there is this thrill of wanting to know what is happening, there is snarky sexy banter going on, it's suspenseful and there is a certain scene that will have you all hot and bothered. Lina & Nord´s chemistry is fire and truly panty-melting.

Well, Meg Anne is known to have a book end on a cliff hanger, so like Hint of Danger this book certainly does end on one and I can´t wait for the next book in the series.

I was a lucky girl and received an Advanced Listener Copy (ALC) for Face of Danger and the audible experience of this book is a must. It makes this story so much more intense and bringing this book to life is due to the incredible performances of Shane East and Stella Hunter, whose talent I cannot praise enough as they really do make magic happen.

Face of Danger

Wow this is the second book in the Undercover Magic series. At the end of book one Lina's memories all came back to her. Everything just keeps getting better and better. I am loving this series so far. I love Nord and Lina so much. Can we just take a moment to talk about the sexual tension between Finley and Quinn! Can't wait for the next book. Shane East and Stella Hunter did amazing narrating in duet style!

Really enjoying this series

I received a free copy of this audiobook in return for an honest review.

This was a great second installment of the series. The characters are superb, and the story kept me absorbed with plenty of action and plenty to think about. The way things have been left makes me really look forward to book 3! As with the first book, the duet narration worked really well and both narrators did a really good job.

Wow your heart will face danger by loving this

Book 1 needed on a cliffhanger. Book 2 picks up where it ended . This one is like book 1. It’s face pace , action packed , filled with mystery. Lina needs to know who she really is , why was she murdered . She goes into a bar and that’s where she sees Alistair and she first meets Quinn . Quinn is quite a paranormal that adds to the story. She allows Lina to remember it all . Who her murderer is . Nord greeks out because he’s Lina protector.
Love the chemistry that Lina and Nord have between them. It’s hot hot. . They have one person to track , Lina killer . There is also friction between Quinn and Flynn. Love how they interact together. There are some instances that Quinn can be to much . Love the Fai Cracken , he adds to the story

The performance of Stella Hunter and Shane East were perfection. They did all the characters great, you were able to know who is who by their tone

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Lina's amnesia is gone and the memories of her previous life steadily resurface. Now she know who killed her and she's determined to seek revenge. With Nord at her side, as well as Finley, Quinn, Alistair and Crombie she embarks on a dangerous journey full of action-packed scenes, steamy encounters and more mysteries to unravel.

This second installment in the series is as engrossing and addictive as the first, if not more. I finished it in one sitting and I can't wait to see what happens next! And while we're at it, I really, really want to find out if there's something going on between Finley and Quinn. I sincerely hope so!

And as far as the audiobook itself is concerned... this is one of my favorite audiobooks so far!!! The narrators are simply amazing! The dual narration adds depth to the story, while the performers are exactly what I imagined Lina and Nord would sound like!!!

Brilliant listen

Okay. First things first. WTAF? Was Meg Anne tormented as a child or something? Did she not get a puppy she wanted? Why would she hurt my heart like this? It hurts so bad. Thank goodness for the bonus scene. Because I needed that laugh out loud moment. Finley and Quinn make my heart happy. Meg Anne, not so much!

Joking aside. This is such a fantastic series. This book picks up right where the previous book left off. Lina has her memories. And her power. You’d think this would be a good thing, but this poor woman cannot catch a break. She has her guardian on her side though. Oh, Nord, what a fine specimen you are! I loved the continuation of their relationship and seeing it grow. Especially now that there is nothing holding Nord back. What’s great about this instalment is that we see Lina’s world expanding. She doesn’t just have Nord and Finley on her side. She has family and friendship too.

There are moments that will make you laugh, make you swoon, and if you can’t tell from the intro, make you cry too. It’s the full package, and I am diving into book three right now.

Stella Hunter and Shane East performed this book in duet, and it is brilliant. Their voices complement each other well, and they’re a joy to listen to. The production is top-notch as always.

Absolutely amazing!

I love the way Shane East says literally everything. I could listen to him talk all day. This is one of my favourite books in general, and SO GOOD as an audio book. I took a while to listen to it so I could fully enjoy it and now I want to listen to it again. And again. And again. CAN'T WAIT FOR BOOK THREE!!!
