Summary

A plague from the past threatens dragons, and their riders…

A mysterious sickness ravages the land, causing dragons and their riders to fall into a never-ending sleep. Cora and her dragon steed Alaric are determined to find a cure… Especially as the sickness begins to claim the lives of their fellow dragon riders.

But Cora and Alaric are not immune to this unholy illness. Risking their lives, they join a team of dragon riders on a perilous journey to the Heart of Tenegard, where a mysterious healer believes they may find a cure. Tensions run high, as the group begins to suspect that a traitor lurks in their midst, manipulating dark magic and endangering them all.

The sickness threatens those closest to Cora, and the dragon school itself is in danger. If she cannot stop this malady from spreading, there may be no dragon riders left to defend Tenegard.

But time is running out. Can she find the cure for this ancient sickness, before it’s too late?

What an excellent and well written adventure!

This book has destroyed my year! I am now shifting my TBR around to make time and read/listen to more books of Ava Richardson! And I can believe I am just discovering her and her series now, and what an amazing narration by Amy Hall.
I loved the story, it is a continuation but every book is based on a different main plot so is easy to be lost in this world. And not only it was beautiful written but the turns and plot twists were excellent!

Amy Hall, is one of my favorite narrators, she always managed to hold my attention and she made this book even better!

Now, I am going to download and listen to the other books of this series and explore the worlds that this author creates.

Entertaining read with wonderful characters!

Dragon Plague follows Cora and her dragon Alaric as they race to find a cure to mysterious sickness ravaging the land and causing dragons and riders alike to fall into a fatal sleep. As Cora navigates complicated political issues pulling her away from finding the cure Alaric supports and guides her the best he can as they try to stay focused on finding a cure. Soon friends and allies begin to fall as the sickness spreads claiming the lives of their fellow dragon riders.

Cora and Alaric risk their lives by joining a team of dragon riders that head out on a perilous journey to the Heart of Tenegard to find a healer who may hold the key to a cure. Tensions run high, as the group suspects that a traitor lurks in their midst, manipulating dark magic to thwart them endangering all of Tenegard if the mission is not successful.

In all it was a great read and I enjoyed it very much!

really exciting, fight to find a cure, love it

This book is about trust and believing in goodness of heart. Unfortunately we never find out what the antagonist's goal is.

The author is very skilled in expressing what goes through the minds of the characters and, with attention to detail, presents the search for the cause of the disease and a remedy for it.

I like the way the protagonist deals with the mystery of the disease and her goal to discover the truth behind it
If you like dragons and their friendship with people and working together, the tenacity that never gives up, despite all the difficulties, this book is for you.

Fantastic story and narration

This audiobook really brings this great Dragon Rider training story to life. Entertaining and engaging with great narration. The narrator is a good fit and really helps this story to come alive.

Cora, Farron and Alaric lead a quest to discover a cure for a mysterious illness that affects dragons and their riders. Alongside having to train Dragon riders and settling a new school. Octavia and Raksha are having a hard time with the political situation.

This is an epic story which is action packed and emotional with politics, dragons, discoveries, quests, friendships and romance. Great narration, world building and characters.

This is a great story that keeps you hooked throughout.
