Summary
It’s normal to wish that your baby came with a snooze button, right?
When I got pregnant, Will and I didn’t have a clue what we were signing up for. It turns out that there’s loads we weren’t warned about:
- In the middle of the night you’ll be begging Siri for advice on getting your baby to sleep. (In case you’re wondering, whale music doesn’t work.)
- If you make the mistake of going to a nightclub, you’ll nod off, drool, and be woken up by an angry bouncer.
- You’ll spend more time spooning your child’s cuddly donkey than your own boyfriend.
- Communication with your other half will be via Post-it notes on the fridge, mainly telling him to buy more milk.
- Sex is something that happened in another dimension.
But even if I feel like I’m waiting for my motherhood powers to come in the post, at least I’ve got Will. Our old life - festivals, sambuca shots, an actual sex life - might be a distant memory, but we can get through anything together, can’t we?
At least that’s what I thought until, one day, Will walked out on us.... If I’m on my own (apart from Siri, obviously) can I do this whole parenting thing? Or I am destined to lose my sanity one sleepless night at a time?
A totally hilarious and absolutely relatable tale for anyone who has survived parenthood purely on microwave meals, wishing for an IV drip of coffee to get them through! This will make your belly ache with laughter. Perfect for fans of Why Mummy Drinks, Sophie Ranald, and Sophie Kinsella.

Parenthood & Unexpected Friendships
This book has a different feel than the other two books my favourite has to be “Has anyone seen my sexlife” more for the comedy factor. This instalment is about Beth affectionately known as B and Will. They have been together around 8 years then they have a baby and the whole dynamics change in their relationship. Beth adjusting to motherhood and her new body shape and Will who is trying to put in more hours to pay and support his family.
You can see they need to talk but things spiral out of control the next thing is he has moved out. We then see the mighty force of Beth’s family advising her left right and centre and how do they make it right? Is there a relationship left to salvage........

Laugh out loud
I loved this book. It’s perfectly narrated and the characters are very believable. The story is funny and witty and I love how each of the sisters have their own story to read so you can connect with the characters individually once this book is done. I’ve listened to it three times now and love it each time a little more because I know about the other character’s lives too

Absolutely brilliant story, funny and insightful
This series of books is just hysterical and Beths story is funny, sad and heartwarming in equal measure. It's a clever tale ofhow we all change as we go through life, how we deal with lifes stressed and the incredible family dynamics. I love hte unsung hero that is Beths dad and her relationship with er sisters is great. Kirsten has written two others which follow the lives of two out of the five sisters and they are equally brilliant. What I love is that there are things in the book which happen and overlap events in the other books which then gives you a completely different perspective. I love that each book can be read in any order in thier own right. What I love more is that when I normally fall in love with the characters I'm left wanting to know more about them adn the events in thier lives. This Kristen does with such skill that I already hope that she is writing Grace and Lucy's stories!
It's funny and clevery, incresibly well written with characters that I adore and this is the third sister I've read about. Once you're read this, you'll want to go find the other sisters and read more. Absolutely brilliant concept and I thoroughly reccommend.

Kristen you did it again
Thank you for another amazing book. I find the sisters so relatable and ‘normal’ and I can tell that the author is realistic and down to earth yet witty. I can’t wait for the next one!!
