Summary
Alice was wrong. Wonderland wasn't so wonderful after all.
Kat never expected to be back in her hometown, but when house sitting turns into a mad rabbit chase, Kat finds herself with a whole new set of problems.
A two-headed bird with a Game of Thrones obsession, a party full of tea addicts, and a Cheshire Cat who could seduce the pants off her grandma? And if the citizens weren't bad enough, their prince was off his rocker.
This wasn't your run of the mill Wonderland. This was the fae world, where rules are rules, and some things are exactly as they seem.

Great Retelling 👍
I really enjoyed listening to this book and the way that Lisa Zimmerman narrated it was fantastic. I'd say that she has a special way of changing her voice for each different character, which makes listening to her telling this story brilliant.
The story itself is a fantastic retelling of Alice in Wonderland, with a twist.
The twist being that instead of Alice chasing the rabbit, it's Kat. And her adventure is quite different to the one we are used to with Alice.
I'd definitely recommend this audiobook to anyone who enjoys a good fantasy/PNR book.

Good but not quite wonderful
I initially found this book to be a slow starter for me, it didn't grab me right away and the main character wasn't really interesting enough from the outset, but things did pick up quite a bit through the course of the book as a whole so I was glad that I stuck with it.
Something that definitely helped to enhance this book overall was the strong performance of this narrator with an enjoyable voice and a suitably distinctive range for the various characters.
Overall, I enjoyed this book and it's narration and I am more interested in subsequent ones in the series too.
