About this listen
Murder, Suspense, and Romance in the Steamy Side of San Francisco
Chase was on a mission to find his partner’s killer, the leader of the Romanov Cartel.
It didn’t matter to him what he had to do to find him, because he had a perfect plan....
Marry the heiress...Annika.
Annika Koslov wanted more than just to find her father’s killer.
She wanted the sexy new bodyguard too.
She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and Chase finds himself fiercely attracted to the younger woman that was supposed to be his assignment.

I enjoyed the narration of Julian James
Chase was an undercover detective, is looking for his partner's killer and Annika is looking for her father's killer. It was a good story and great plot. It is a really great concept full of drama and steamy with chemistry

Bodyguard to a Mob boss?
A great story that flows effortlessly and the narrator's voice lends itself to the task at hand. However, I found some of the pauses between chapters were too long and broke the continuity of the book, it was a bit disconcerting. Otherwise, a nice quick listen to fill that lunch hour.
