Enjoyable
Enjoyable. For someone like me who hasn’t read many dark romances. This book was good! The characters were ok and I enjoyed the storyline. However whilst reading it felt flat. Although I enjoyed the characters I couldn’t connect with them. I felt no emotion whilst reading and I’m not really sure why. I will read book 2 as I want to see what happens in the series and what journey they will face next. I met Faith Summers at a book signing and have 2 other series to start by her. I hope to enjoy them too! However, 1 series at a time 😂

so annoying voice
if just the speaker would stop the annoying high-pitched scream. it gets so hard to listen to when she make this dramatic outcasts at least more often then normal . I had to turn down the speaker and then turn it up to hear any of at all when she not screaming. otherwise it would be a ok boon . exept the virgin pain and blood thing that is the most pathetic I know but it's like all others stereotyped romance

a surprise
this book is a good listen, unfortunately the female reading is a cringe when they are being dramatic, but the book has a plot! not just emotional navel gazing. well worth a listen

Great story
Really enjoyed listening to this audio book looking forward to listening to the rest of the series. Narrators did a good job to be quite honest was unsure regarding Antonio's voice at the beginning but he really grew on me Lauren Ezzo was was so innocent at the beginning, as her love grew she became stronger fighting for her man. Lots of lies, secrets and heartache in this book.

Mafia romance Book one
I love a sizzling hot mafia romance. Massimo isn’t perfect, he’s working progress and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to him grow. The story goes into great detail and will keep you engaged to the very end. The female lead grows from strength to strength.
The two narrators were fabulous and brought the story to life.

struggled to finish, don't waste your money/credit
the male narrator was not a good fit, did not fit the characters personality and to be completely honest made me cringe alot making skip until the female narrator started speaking. massimo is supposed to be a 29 year old but the narrator sounds like a man in his 50s adding to the cringe when it comes to intimate dialogue. the actual story is ok nothing exciting or binge worthy.
