Empowering Seniors to Thrive with Chair Exercises
Luke Adams' "Chair Exercises for Seniors" is a remarkable audiobook that empowers our older generation to live their best lives. I have a father in law that recently had surgery and he is slowing getting back on his feet. I was thinking of him when i purchased this audiobook. He loves audiobooks and needs help with rehabbing, and this should help. With seven daily low-impact routines, this audiobook offers much more than just exercises; it's a lifeline to reducing pain, preventing falls, and enhancing mobility for a healthier, more independent lifestyle.

A Source to connect with My Grandparents
It is a fantastic resource for older adults looking to stay active and healthy. The book's approach to fitness through low-impact routines performed while seated in a chair intrigued me. As I was looking for ways to support my grandparents in maintaining their mobility and independence, this book provided essential insights. Chapter 2, titled "Why Chair Exercises?" related deeply with me. I remembered my grandmother's frustration as her mobility declined, and it was challenging for her to engage in regular exercise. The book shed light on how chair exercises could make a significant difference. It was heartwarming to witness my grandparents, inspired by this book, commit to daily routines that focused on their neck, shoulders, and back, resulting in improved strength and pain reduction. The narration in this audiobook was clear and reassuring.

Comprehensive!
Luke Adams does a great job of providing readers with a comprehensive range of exercises that focus on strength, balance, and flexibility. What I appreciate the most about this audiobook is that it caters to the unique needs of seniors, offering low-impact exercises that are easy on the joints and suitable for individuals of all fitness levels. One of the key takeaways for me is that the book encourages seniors to adopt a proactive approach to their health, empowering them with the tools and knowledge needed to stay active and vital. Gordon Klassen's encouraging tone adds an extra layer of motivation to the exercises and really brings the book to life. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone looking for an easy way to stay fit and healthy in their golden years.

A Great Listen for Seniors or Physically Limited
I volunteered at a Senior center years ago and this book reminds me of my time there participating in “Chair Volleyball” and “Chair Yoga”. The seniors always had so much fun! This is a great resource for any senior or physically limited individual to guide them on doing exercise within their limitations. People often assume they can’t exercise or get more movement into their day because they can’t stand long periods, walk long distances, etc. This is an important guide to show people they CAN still incorporate movement each day! It’s availability as an audiobook is a great benefit to the target market who may have vision impairment and need the listen option!

Not only Seniors
Really great exercises that can be easily used for both seniors and those who struggle with health issues. The exercises that can be done from a chair are beneficial and valuable. The book has laid them out well and thoroughly. Very well done and a great listen.

Great at any age
My husband has difficulties with his mobility and has had a lot of back problems so finding a book that can help him reduce his pain and improve his mobility has been difficult. I always joke that he has a body of a 90 year old so I guess finding a book for seniors was appropriate. He was able to easily start implementing the exercises and started to find some additional strength day over day. Right now with it being winter, he has a lot of aches and pains so the more he can stretch and keep limber, the better he is feeling. The book clearly explains the exercises and the exercises are easy yet extremely effective.
One of our concerns is with him being in so much pain, he laid down a lot to try to gain relief and over time we have noticed his muscles have become weaker. With doing the exercises his back muscles are beginning to strengthen and he is even standing straighter. I love that there are books like this that want to help keep people not only with their health but also to keep their independence. Great gift for anyone in your life who has mobility and strengthening issues.
