Enlightening

The book provides information on Celtic believes and practices in an interesting story telling manner.

Easy listening but budding with tree knowledge and folklore

The way it was written was like you were with the author on a journey through ancient forest. Knowledge could be absorbed in a relaxed and calm manner.

Probably a great book...

I could not listen to this book, the content is probably lovely, but the performance is so devoid of emotion and passion it's like listening to a textbook being read by AI.
Nothing compared to the fantastic narrator of 'Wild magic'. Very disappointing...wish I had listened to a sample first, before purchase 🤦

Difficult to absorb due to narration

This book would probably be best read by the author, the narrator speaks so strangely that it's really difficult to absorb the amazing content of the book! Its such a shame, I hope audible re-record this. I have to keep rewinding it because the sentences are not spoken with enough flow, as you would normally explain something. The inflections are all wrong! I also think it would help if the author used more basic language for those who have not come across any of this kind of information before, although this might just be the way it's narrated making it sound more complicated and alien than it is!
