Great book but narrator sounded a bit like a school teacher

Excellent well researched and written book - just a little let down by the narrator who sounded a bit like a stern school mistress. Otherwise loved it all.

Interesting and very strange indeed

Lovely poetic ideas, which are calming and musical. The sounds of Celtic languages are very charming .I’m not sure that most of the ideas wouldn’t be received with derision by most modern people however. I didn’t find the narrator inappropriate at all. Her pronunciation of various sources seems very pleasing, and if she were too ‘woo woo’ in style it would make the subject matter even more peculiar.

Narration

Loved the content. Beautiful ideas. The narration did let it down, it was pretty monotone and I struggled to connect the wonderful message of the book with the boring teacher voice of the narrator. I could sense that the narrator was just reading text and not feeling/understanding/believing in the spirituality. Each to their own, but this book deserved a more connected narrator, I feel.
