Summary
I’m watching you. I know everywhere you go. When Beth Stephens opens the first mysterious note, she is terrified. Someone out there, someone who seems to be stalking her every footstep, has pried open the terrible secret she's been hiding for over a decade. And he is threatening to exact revenge. All these years, Beth has carefully built her life on a lie, kept to her, been wary of close relationships and protective of her privacy. And now, just when she finally thinks herself safe, her days filled with new friendships, a boyfriend and a steady job as a teacher, everything starts to unravel. Suddenly, she can trust no one, seeing danger everywhere, and she realises that she has to find the stalker before he closes in on her…

The narrator Clare Corbett
Clare Corbett has such a clear story telling voice which for me made a good book into a very good book.

Unexpected
I was nicely surprised by this book, which had a few nice twist & turns!, I enjoyed the narration also.

Brilliant!
Brilliant story! Brilliant narration! A story about how nothing is quite as it seems. Clare Corbett one of best narrators around. Looking for next Jane Hill book now!

Tedious
I really hate to give a bad review and this is not directed particularly at the writing or narrator. I just so disliked the main character - a silly, selfish and immature women whose self obsession and lack of responsibility was tedious, boring and really rather daft.

Irritating
I found the main character extremely annoying, paranoid and self obsessed. Her story was predictable and the twist at the end a damp squid.

Slow and boring
Extremely slow and drawn out, the whole "storyline" was pointless by the end which was as disappointing as the start and middle.
I held on hoping it would get better, it never did.
Loved the narrating.
