Fast paced historical novel with excellent narration
The Romans are coming! Seventeen years ago the Romans destroyed the druid community on Mona (Anglesey) but withdrew before subjugating the ancient Welsh tribes, in order to crush Boudica's rebellion. Now they've returned to finish the job.
With strong characters and lots of action, the narration brings to life the struggles of the Ordovice tribe who face treachery, slavery and death as they resist the Roman invasion and try to preserve their way of life.
