Great story
Even though it's short, nothing feels rushed or left out. The world building is great, the characters very likeable and with strong chemistry. I loved the characters and the twists and turns along the way. I enjoyed the narration as well, very easy to listen to.

This was a really enjoyable story. Very likeable characters, with strong chemistry and great world building.
I love the way things work in this world and the mating bond is great.
The narration was a bit stilted but the voices were very good.

Paranormal fix
I really enjoyed this audiobook adventure. The tittle fits perfectly. Tabitha is a necromancy and has been set-up for a crime she hasn’t committed. She isn’t like others of her kind.
Rick is a friend who’s trying to help Tabitha but when things become complicated can they become more than neither of them are ready for.
A bond between a vampire and necromancer could be the answer to all of there problems.
This is read well and the story suspense kept me hanging on every word. Great story with a nice underlining romance.
This was a competition win. I would class myself as a Laura Greenwood groupie.

Enjoyable and interesting with great narration
Jess Combs brought these characters to life so well I could tell who was who without being told. I really enjoyed the characters and watching them working out what was going on around them. I loved the little twists throughout. It's a really interesting story that I enjoyed listening to.

Short fun PNR
A short but wonderful PNR, about a necromancer trying to find answers about her family. Her fated vampire mate and the answers they uncover.

Great Stand Alone Short
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
Having not read any of paranormal council books this is a great stand alone short to get you itching to want more. I definitely think I’ll be indulging in future to get another one as world building and brief glimpses into characters I hope you see in other books. Tabitha is a necromancer who veers on the side of good but that’s not always possible. Love that Rick her love interest is almost a polar opposite of her and although this is a romance it doesn’t overtake the overall magic, suspense and plot of the main story line.
Just wanted it to last longer!

The Necromancer & The Vampire
This was a great standalone story set in the Paranormal Council Universe! After the necromancer council dissolved, Tabitha is out of a job and desperate for money, but no one will hire a necromancer the legal way. She’s also having trouble finding any information on her brother and the death of her father after her mother’s death. She starts looking for a job and answers in the black market, but finds herself mixed up with a vampire of The High Council, who also happens to be her mate, since the job was a set up and the result of black magic going wrong. What’s the best way to start your life with your fated mate? With lies, deceit, and a hefty price for your head. I enjoyed this new mystery that Laura has created and watching Tabitha and Rick’s relationship grow. This book was filled with romance, mystery, suspense, and great characters within an amazing world!
Jess did an amazing job with this narration! I loved the different voices that she gave each character and the amount of emotion and suspense she put into her performance to bring it to life.

Wow
I’m beginning to think Laura Greenwood is like a witch or something. Somehow she manages to give time and time again an action packed story that doesn’t feel rushed with good character development in a book that you can listen to over the afternoon.
I absolutely loved this one so much and this book has convinced me I need the rest of the series as this was just so good

Great PNR
I was given this book free for an honest review.
Tabitha isn’t your normal necromancer and after an exchange of black market magic goes wrong she’s forced to work with the high council . When Tabitha finds what she is looking for it brings her sadness that she has to decide what side she’s own at the sake of her family but she knows she has to do the right thing.
Great story although it’s only just over 3 hours nothing is left out or rushed. Jess Combs is perfect at narrating which made it even more enjoyable.
