Summary

The stunning 5th audio title in Eoin Colfer's mega-selling Artemis Fowl series. 10 millennia ago, the fairy people were defeated in a great battle with mankind, forcing them to move underground. Only the 8th family of fairies remained undefeated: the demons. But now one demon has discovered the secrets of the fairy world, and if humans get hold of this information, the fairies are in BIG trouble. Only one person can prevent this disaster, teenage criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl.

Great story, disliked the voices

preferred the previous reader. irritated by the music at the end of the chapter and the voices attributed to the fairy characters

Love all Artemis Fowl books but this voice wasn’t it! 🤬🤮

BRING BACK JERRY O’BRIEN!!
I prefer the other voice much more.
It’s not that terrible but just listen to Jerry’s Foaly voice compared to this Foaly voice and you’ll see why I mean. It sounds so nerdy. 🤓🐴
AND….
The stupid music at the end of the chapters wakes me up not puts me to sleep

Narrator ruined book

While I like Adrian Dunbars voice I am sorry to say I found it totally unsuited to this book the original narrator did a much better job. It would have been much better if Mr Dunbar had just read the book and not tried accents for the different characters especially foaly. This totally spoilt the book for me to the point I doubt I will purchase any others narrated by this actor and also the reason for the low rating.

Ruined a childhood favourite

Story is wonderful, but the voice actor was terrible. Music at the end means can't use to fall asleep
