About this listen

Jake's a hitman, so his jobs are usually pretty straight-forward. Not this time, though. He could never have foreseen what he walked into.

Good at his job.

Jake was good - at his job. At least, he said so: after all, if be wasn't, he wouldn't still be doing it.
A short story, well written and involving from the start. Narration, by Matthew E. Berry, is excellent, told with expression.
