Summary
Book three in the collaboration between the creator of the multiple New York Times best-selling Monster Hunter series, Larry Correia; and best-selling science fiction author Mike Kupari. The Dead Six series is an inventive and action-packed military adventure series with a touch of conspiracy and a big dollop of descriptive firepower!
Europe has spiraled into chaos. A conspiracy years in the making combined with general unrest led to upheaval and revolution. In the midst of the murderous disorder, mercenary Michael Valentine is in Europe with a small team of his Exodus personnel, trying to track down the evil and highly dangerous Katarina Montalban. She has initiated a mysterious plot to do away with those who stand between her and ultimate power. The team is on their own, with few friends and few resources - and racing against the clock. Both Valentine and Lorenzo will have to risk some dangerous alliances if they're to succeed. Meanwhile, Valentine's friend, one-time enemy, and sometime partner, Hector Lorenzo, finds himself in a dungeon owned by Asian drug lord Sala Jihan. He must make a deal that may lead him to cross paths with Valentine again. If two of the most effective killers in existence hunt, even the pandemonium in Europe may be just the first act in an orgy of destruction.

The gritty lovechild between Black Hawk Down and The Born Identity
This blockbuster ending ties up the loose ends from the earlier books, and forces our heroes to combine good detective work with all out direct action. The book has a very nice balance between how the cast has to try and figure out the hidden meaning of what happened in the first and second book, and thrilling action when they act on the intelligence that they have gathered.
A warning though, this one is really hard to put down so don’t plan to get to much done after you download this!

Another great addition to the series
Book 3 doesn't quite live up to the heights of book one and two, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. I enjoyed it very much but book two will always stand out as the best in the series for me.
This book serves as a way of brining the story to a conclusion and tying up loose ends. It does a good job of ramping up the stakes of the heroes mission, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. We get to see Lorenzo and Valentine grudgingly begin to appreciate (if not like) each other by the end of the novel. Forced to work with each other again to take on the illuminate in a bid to stop their old enemy taking over the world.
We get to find out a little more about the background of the main characters and see them develop even more in a bid to atone for their dark pasts. The actin is as you would expect, fast paced, descriptive and exciting. The plot is a little contrived and suffers a little from the writers prejudices and fears of European society (you can tell they are American and don't understand Europe much), but it doesn't spoil the enjoyment.
Pinchot does a good job and feels like he has fit into the roles a lot more comfortably than the 1st book.
