About this listen

When those inside the corridors of power need help outside the law, they know who to call. Jonathan Grave, covert rescue specialist, always gets results. No names. No feds. No trace evidence.

When an Indiana college student is abducted, Jonathan and his team of ace operatives unravel a deadly scheme the government wants ignored. Someone wants to control a devastating secret. Someone rich, powerful, and willing to kill anyone to get it. Even the people Jonathan loves most.

Excellent introduction to the Scorpion World

The first time that I have listened to the audiobook version of my favourite character's novels. It was an exciting adventure with excellent narration and great characters.

Another great political thriller

I really liked this book. It's great to listen to while walking on long routes and Basil Sands is a brilliant narrator. I must recommend it.

Ridiculous

Disliked descriptions of torture and violence.
Disliked the religious references.
Really couldn't understand the last part. Won't spoil the story but it didn't make sense.
Why, when they had hours to prepare did they stay put. And as skilled operatives were they so easily tracked?
Will now avoid Mr Gilstrap's writing.
