Society, book three:

A really good fun listen.
thoroughly enjoying the series. Great fun with fun characters. not deep by any means, but very very engaging. highly recommended.

Excellent book
Although partially ruined by the use of an American narrator, this is still an excellent book. The accents are badly done and simple things like the English version of ‘lieutenant’ are incorrect.
But if you had the previous books you will be used to this by now and you really do need these to see what’s going on.

Great end of the world story
Great story and characters.
RC Bray could read the Daily Mail and it would sound interesting.
He's just about the best.

Why the yank ?
The story is very good. Post apocalyptic fare with no zombies for a change. Likeable main characters and a full selection of nasties. But why oh why is the narrator an American? Ive nothing against Mr Bray, he really is very good unless he is trying UK accents. He’s not great at any of them and it did spoil my enjoyment of an otherwise great story. Surely there are numerous competent UK narrators who would have done better ?? Shame really. Having said that i will finish the series.

My only disappointment is that Books 5 and 6 are not available on audible even though there is an excerpt after book 4

Surprisingly good.
Not my subject at all but I really enjoyed this book and am really sorry that the series is finished after 9 books 👍🏻
