A cozy wedding?
I love this series, you never know where the author or characters will take you next or who you will met. This book was just as much fun and Becky handled a number of different ghostly cases or mini stories, one in particular was funny and another was interesting because Becky had to visit a fortune teller in order to help. The author also covered the spread of Covid and the effects it had on the characters, it was nicely done and a gentle reminder of what everybody has been through the last year or so. But don't worry Becky and the gang still get to help ghosts and the ones left behind. This is book eight and the series still manages to stay fresh, exciting and entertaining. I can't wait for the next book and a new adventure.
After Patrick finally proposed Becky can start planning the wedding of her dreams but first she has a few ghosts that she needs to help with unfinished business. Being a medium is not something she planned to do but after the first ghost uncounted she embraced her gift, can she convince somebody else to do the same thing? Then Covid hits the world and with her shop shut, she must learn to find a new way to help the ghosts who have come to rely on her. But with Patrick still working as a police detective will she have to cancel the wedding plans too?
I liked the narrator. She used some good voices and I had no problems telling the different characters apart as the story unfolded.
